“Don't Miss This!”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

We saved this for our last day and it was the perfect ending to our Prague visit. Book the combo that includes a recorded guided tour narrated by Lobkowicz himself, a concert of Czech-related music performed by a brilliant chamber group, and a discount at the cafe on a terrace with one of the best views of Prague available. The music room is amazing with original manuscripts of Beethoven's, Mozart's arrangement of Handel's "Messiah", and much, much more. My heart was in my throat hearing about this family's history and reclamation of their treasures. Not once, but twice! I will never forget this.

“A must see in Prague”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

At the tail end {eastern end] of Prague Palace lies the Lobkowicz Palace, privately owned by the family and recently renovated with much of their astounding collection.....often referred to as 'the BEST private collection in Europe'.........sooooooo tastefully presented. DO NOT miss the daily chamber music concert at 13:00. [the program is about 45 minutes and perfect]..........take it in after a light lunch at their cafe.....also, excellent...... ....perfect respite after a morning at primary Prague Castle.

“OK but nothing special”
Reviewed September 29, 2012

I added this tour to a Viking cruise and it was $90 and certainly not worth it. It included a bowl of goulasch, a small piece of cheesecake and a free beer or glass of wine. It also included a 20 minute classical concert and a self-guided tour of their gallery. It was very nice but certainly not worth $90!!

“Amazing palace!”
Reviewed September 27, 2012

Make sure you buy the most expensive ticket where you can visit all the attractions of the palace. We chose the other option and regretted we couldnt see the actual palace inside :(.
It is a very long walk to get to the palace, so be prepared with comfortable shoes and a bottle of water, or get a cab

“Better than Prague Castle”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

There is a terrific collection of family furnishings, paintings and objects in several rooms to see. Free audio guide is included in the ticket price.
