Travellers: 23 F & 27M Young couple

I booked the hotel through a Travel zoo deal last year. After hearing some bad reviews about over booking I was worried this may occur on our trip. However the hotel exceeded our expectations and was a pleasant surprise when we arrived.

We decided to go for Valentines week and checked in Monday- Thursday.

Overall the hotel location was fantastic... best area of Prague I would say. It’s not far from the main town and a short walk to old town. We used public transport the whole time we were there and it was simple and easy to get about the city.

The hotel staff were very polite, the lobby bar had a nice atmosphere and breakfast was OK.

We didn’t spend much time in the hotel but the room was nice and bathroom clean and modern.

We didn’t have a great view and the aircon didn’t work very well. It was -10 outside but felt like a sauna in our room.

The only negative about the hotel would be their 'spa' facilities. We booked a massage and a sauna and was very disappointed to be led through the back corridors to a small forgotten room for our treatments. The whole experience was very uncomfortable and I would not recommend using them.

Prague itself is beautiful. Having been to cities such as Venice, Paris, Berlin I would say Prague would be up there with the best. There is so much to see, eating out is cheap and people very friendly.

A restaurant I would recommend is Nebozizek.. right up on the hill you get an AMAZING view of Prague. It was truly breath-taking. Piano playing and a roaring fire. Very romantic!

A pre Christmas view the Christmas market trip with eight friends. The hotel is close to everything, many restauarants and top sightseeing musts are only a short walk away.
Rooms, service and staff were all excellent. A must visit is the Tibetan Therapy Spa- a big hit with all who visited it.

Room Tip: They were all good!

Stayed in this hotel in December. E-mailed ahead and they arranged a taxie to pick us up at the airport-24 hours from enquiry to it being booked. We arrived late in the evening to find our driver waiting who we also booked for the return journey. The hotel room was very pleasant and clean- quite large with lovely bathroom and amazing view's over to the clock tower and beyond. The beds were very comfortable. As i have already said the staff were more than helpfulThis hotel is in a great location with all the main attractions within walking distance and to see the sights there is a lot of walking! But of course there are numerous bus rides river trips etc if you choose to save your feet! The irish bar is out of the hotel doors turn left and just down the road on the other side if you fancy a meal or last drink before retiring then this is the place and the manager is also very sociable! This was our second trip as we wanted to do the xmas market which was stunning when lit at night. You can't fail to be absorbed by this beautiful city and when we return we will book this hotel again. E-mail and ask them their exchange rate in the hotel we would have got so much more for our money if we had

Room Tip: Higher floors have a better veiw

We stayed here for a 3 night break just before Christmas 2011. The location is very convenient for the city centre: everywhere in the city is within easy walking distance.
The staff were welcoming and the hotel was very clean and comfortable.
The shower in our room did run cold a couple of times, but after about a 10 minute wait, the hot water came through again.
We were being picked up from the hotel at 6pm on our departure day and the room check-out time was 11am - there was no problem storing our bags while we went out for the day.
We didn't eat at the hotel apart from breakfast, which was very good and offered plenty of choice. It did tend to be very busy between 8.30 and 9am, so maybe worth coming down a bit later if you're in no hurry to get out and about.
I would recommend this hotel.

My family and I stayed here twice whilst visiting my brother who was studying at the Conservatoire for a term. The service was excellent - all the staff were most helpful and very friendly and polite. We had two rooms, both of which were of a good size, warm, tastefully decorated and cleaned every day. The price was very reasonable, especially considering the level of service and also the amazing breakfast that was included in the price. It meant that we didn't need lunch!
Regarding location, all tourist locations were easily accessible from the hotel - although we did do quite a lot of walking!
Without doubt this hotel provided the most pleasant stay I have ever experienced and I have since recommended it to a friend who is visiting Prague later this month. I would highly recommend 'Best Western Premier Hotel Majestic Plaza' to anyone visiting Prague.
