“Excellent hotel”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

Perla Hotel is one of the finest 4star hotels in Prague.
Clean rooms, nice staff and a very good breakfast.
Also it was perfectly located between the new and old city part.

Also to get from or to the airport is very easy because the metrostation was right round the corner!

I would recomment this hotel to everybody who wants to stay in a perfect hotel for a good price!

My wife and I were in Prague from Feb 12 to 15, 2013. Trip Advisor is accurate describing the perfectness of Perla Hotel in terms of services rendered, facilities, food served and most important of all the safetyness. The hotel is right at the heart of all the center.. 3 minutes walk to wenceslao square, about 10 minutes walk to old town square. Metro green (Mustek) is just 1 minute after you walk out of the hotel.
Facilties are modern. Toilet and bathroom is very comforting after a long walked around prague. Bath towels are soft and smell fresh. there are 2 elevators available. bedroom is very comfortable with lots of fresh beddings changed everyday. There is no noise coming from the street.

The breakfast is a typical european food (sausage, ham, salami, boiled egg, different kinds of bread and many many more). Coffee is freshly brewed, with so many choices of fresh fruits. Ambience in the hotel restaurant is excellent for loving couples.

The hotel personnel are polite, always smiling. The hotel manager and hotel reservation manager are very generous giving lots of info about the city. they are very accomodating and very much proffesional.

I had been always staying in hotels when toruing around many countries. Perla Hotel is the best of all the best. Our 3 days vacation in prague will not be a perfect vacation without the comfort of this hotel. It is very safe specially leaving your very personal and expensive belongings inside the room while we are roaming around the city.

The hotel has a fantastic location, just right in the center center. Close to the main bus and train station.
The interior of the building is not nothing special but inside is very trendy.
The room is modern, large enough... very new.. I loved it!
Also the breakfast place/ restaurant was very cool and modern... the meals were also very nice.
Offer free wifi and welcome drink!
The guy at the reception was kind of nice but very wired (more like a soldier from an arabic country = no smile, very robotic and scary).. :)

Hotel Perla is a very nice place to stay a couple of days in Prague. It is perfectly located in between the major sights and close to a couple of 'not too touristic' restaurants. And within 200 meters of the Mustek metrostation.
Very friendly and helpfull staf.
The interior of the hotel is very nice. The theme with the balls gives the hotel an edge. And makes it a bit different from the standard Prague hotels.
The rooms are very clean and sufficient equiped, maybe a bit on the smaller side. But well equiped.
Breakfast is good. Enough variation and even an organic selection!

Room Tip: There is a nightclub on the square opposite the hotel, which can be a bit noisy. So maybe the rooms...

We stayed as a couple for 3 nights from 10th to 13th Jan. We arrived early at 10.30 am just in the hopes of leaving luggage as you normally can't check in til 1pm at most hotels however to our delight we were quickly check in and went to our room 215 on the second floor.

The room was nice and comfortable and the beds and pillows were soft. The ensuite bathroom included towels and soaps/shower gel/shampoo and a hair dryer which were useful.

There was a bottle of still water and a bottle of carbonated in the room at a cost of 30czk each. These were replaced each day if you drank them which i found handy.
On floors 2 and 1 there were vending machines with chocolate/soft drinks/beer if you wanted a midnight snack!

The rate included breakfast which was a good selection in the form of a buffet. It included eggs, bacon, sausage, cheese, meats, yoghurt, fruit, cereals, breads, croissants, tea, coffee and juices. A good selection I found.

Hotel has wifi in all of the hotel and the use of two computers in the cafe/bar. If you have forgotten your toothbrush you can get one in a kit at the reception for convenience.
We were given a welcome drink voucher which we used in the bar on the last night with a choice of czech wine or beer - which was nice.

Didn't use the fitness centre as it seemed a bit of a fuss to get down there as you have to get the key from reception. Sauna is free tuesday and thursday 5-7pm but we didn't use it.

Check out was swift and we left our luggage in the locked room provided as our flight was not until 8pm so we could wander the city one last time.
Reception staff offered us a taxi at a flat rate of 680 which was cheaper than the taxi in to Prague from the airport and in hindsight I would book this option with the hotel if I wasn't planning on using public transport which is a cheaper alternative.

Good position close to old town/new town (in the middle) and charles bridge a short walk away for sightseeing.

I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Room Tip: Smoking room on 5th floor - so try avoid higher floors if you don't smoke Cafe/bar for breakfas...

Stayed here over the New Year. Good Location, small but comfortable room on the 5th floor. Excellent breakfast. staff very friendly. As we were departing at 6.15am we were offered a packed breakfast to take with us to the airport. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room were worth the extra one-off charge of 5 Euros. The top floor is quieter but the hot water pressure was very erratic in the morning.

Modern hotel, awesome location! 5 minute walk into main square. Hotel near lots of shops and restaurants. Got an awesome deal on Expedia which we booked the day before.
Great breakfast! Wireless in rooms, sauna, gym, computers on our floor. Rooms good size, nice bathroom. Check out was 12pm, if wanted to stay later we had to pay for another night.

If I go back to Prague would definitely stay there again!
