Our first time at Perla Hotel.... and it will be our only time. The water pressure is nearly non existent on the 3rd floor, the beds are lumpy, the general hotel seems old and the cleaning lady (Lenka, made the point of mentioning her name) was useless. Dust everywhere, never moved anything for cleaning, the floor under the bed was a graveyard of dust....

The location is ok, 5 min walk to historic town with many options to eat and drink surrounding the hotel. The breakfast was good with a wide variety.

Based on the pictures we thought it would be a much trendier hotel. We usually go for boutique hotels and the location seemed good, so we went for it. Unfortunately, the pictures on the website only tell half a story.

We stayed at perla hotel for several times. The hotel is ok. The biggest advantage is the very good location, rooms on the fifth floor are very small. Other rooms are ok. The hotel seems already used quite a lot and there is a lot of dust in rooms.

Room Tip: No fifth floor!

I booked this hotel through Expedia and had an amazing deal - £200.00 each for 3 nights and return flights from Manchester included. The hotel was excellent value for money as not only was it extremely clean and tidy it also included breakfast. The breakfast wasn't great, typical continental (apart from scrambled eggs and bacon) along with broccoli and cauliflower? This must have been popular as others were eating it!

I would definitely recommend this hotel, we didn't have much interaction with the staff apart from breakfast time but those which we did were all very friendly.

The location was great - couldn't have wished for better. We were within close walking distance to all the sites.

Overall, we both really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay in this hotel again.

P.s. We were told on arrival that there was a Spa at the bottom of the hotel which we could use free of charge - I was unaware of this so had not packed suitable clothing but would def recommend visiting the spa and relaxing in the evenings.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 3rd floor and it was great. Also requested a non-smoking room.

Stayed 3 nights in the Perla Hotel from 25th October. Had a lovely room with sitting area and bathroom with shower. Breakfast room was bright and welcoming, food good. Staff very polite and helpful. Location was brilliant for sight seeing. Would definately recommend and can't wait to go back.

My husband and I stayed here three nights in October 2012 as part of our honeymoon. It was our first time to Prague and Perla Hotel is great. Centrally located, the rooms are clean, stylish, and comfortable. They are not spacious rooms but have everything one needs. The complementary breakfast is fantastic with a wide selection of food and drink. I will definitely stay at Perla Hotel on my next trip to Praha.

My husband and I stayed at Perla for two nights last month. We arrived in Prague by train and had no trouble finding the hotel nor getting there on foot. We walked through Wenceslas Square, and then we were in a pedestrian zone. Delicious breakfast buffet with lots of choices and very attentive wait staff. Highly recommended. We will stay here again.

Room Tip: You can save some money by reserving ahead on-line.

Our group (4 adults, 2 rooms) stayed here for 3nights last week.

The location itself is perfect. It's at the point of a triangle between Stare Mesto and Wenceslas Square, with it being just a 5 minute walk to both places. There's also a Tesco store round the corner, and numerous restaurants and pubs.

Check in was very straightforward and we were checked into our room within a couple of minutes of arriving.

The rooms themselves are really nice. If you're looking for giant rooms with acres of space, this hotel isn't for you. However, we thought the rooms were really nice and cosy. That being said, the bathroom really was snug. The shower isn't the best either as it's basically a hand held shower but with a support over the bath. The shower screen was nowhere near big enough meaning the bathroom always ended up with a lot of water on the floor after a shower.

Also, the beds, though comfy, weren't strictly double. It was 2 single beds pushed together which isn't ideal.

As I mentioned in my title, the hotel is in a perfect location but that is also its downfall as there is a lot of noise from the street below which disturbed our sleep on all 3 nights. Although the hotel obviously can't stop street noise, I think they should invest in upgraded double or even triple glazing.

The rooms were always nicely cleaned every day.

Breakfast can't be faulted. A wide selection of food to eat and they always had a selection of freshly baked cakes and pastries. What was nice was once one plate had gone, it would be refreshed with a new, different cake which we thought was a nice touch.

Overall, we would probably go back to the Perla as it was a perfect location. However, I will be bringing ear plugs next time and won't be expecting to curl up with my wife to sleep each night.
