“Nice!”
Reviewed March 31, 2014 via mobile

The room was cosy and big enough for five people ! It was warm and there was always hot water! Also we had cereal coffee and tea bags already in our room free.the tram is just around the corner which made our trips to the centre a breeze! The only negative thing is that there was no good wifi!! We had to go to a cafe or something if we wanted to communicate or go online! All in all it was a nice experience!

We stayed one week in April and we really liked it. The apartment was large, clean and well equipped. The staff is trying their best to make you feel comfortable and assist with anything you may need. The location is not in center, but it is very close by tram (approx. 20 minutes), which stop 1 minutes from the apartment and the journey by tram is nice.
Advantage of this place that you have very good and authentic Czech restaurant just in front of the hotel, dont miss it.

Very good value for money.

Room Tip: Ask for top floor room.

Eighteen of us, all English lads stayed here for a friend's stag do last weekend (13th-16th June) and had a great time. Room size ranged from 2 to 6 and not one of us has a bad word to say about the place. The price for 3 nights was simply amazing - cheaper than you'd pay for 1 night in the UK. The rooms were pretty basic but had everything we needed and the staff were very helpful too. The apartments are a little way from the very centre of Prague, which is a very short tram journey away (the number 11) or only 300ck (approx £10) in a taxi. Some taxi drivers may tell you they can only do it for 400ck-500ck but if you tell them you can get it for 300ck elsewhere they'll do it. Across the road, opposite the apartments is a great pub & grill restaurant. Beer & food are cheap and food is cooked on an open grill in front of you in the restaurant to a fantastic standard.

All in all, we had an absolute blast in Prague, lovely city, great bars etc and the Alea Apartments were a big part of this. I'd definitely return!

Some friends and I stayed there this past weekend. Great location with tram out front and quiet area. No language barrier with staff and very helpfull. Only set backs- Room was nice and clean but the shower did not have a curtain and everything within the bathroom got soaked. I also wish the front desk would be staffed 24/7. The pub across the road served amazing soup! I would stay again..

I'm fortunate to know Prague quite well, having visited friends there many times. This apartment block seemed ideal as I was visiting with some UK friends, and I knew the tram network would be fine for getting to and from the centre.
Unsurprisingly, this was ideal and what was even better was that it gave us the chance to explore some of the bars and eateries local to the apartment house, which were really good and extremely good value, being out of the centre of Prague. I would definitely stay here again, the staff were friendly and very accommodating to our room requirements etc. The only slight downside is that there is no air conditioning, and it was a very hot time of year to be in Prague, but all in all a great place to stay.

Just last weekend I stayed at Alea Apartments House with 5 friends (so we were 6 people) and it absolutely ideal!
We had two rooms with beds, one bathroom, one toilet and a kitchen and all of the rooms were very nice an clean. The only thing that was a bit weird was, that there were no proper curtains in the rooms with the beds!
The staff was extremely nice and helpful and the city center was easily accessable by tram (5 minutes).
So, all in all I would stay at this place again any time, especially when travelling in a bigger group, because we had so much space just for ourselves and still it was cheaper than a hostel would have been!

Myself and 3 friends have recently come back from a 3 night stay here, and I have to speak as I find. reception staff were really helpful and friendly, language barrier wasnt a problem, apartment was clean and tidy. The only complaint i would have really is that as the apartments are not manned 24/7, at night it can get very loud as we found out due to a lot of youngsters making a lot of noise from 1am until 4am most nights we were there. luckily the walls were thick and we didnt hear them all night! Overall a very pleasant stay bit out of the main tourist areas but only a short tram away and the bars and resturants around the area are a lot cheaper and very nice too, we saved a substantial amount by eating in the area.
