“An Outstanding Hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2010

This is an excellent hotel very conveniently located near Old Town Square. The room was spatious and the bed very comfortable. The hotel is in an historic building and our room had very high ceilings with exposed wooden beams. The front desk staff was very helpful with suggestions on restaurants, tours and things to do. The breakfast was also good. We enjoyed our stay.

We just returned from Prague, and could not have asked for a better experience. The Savic Hotel exceeded expectations in room size, and service. Location was easy walking distance to Old Town Square.

Great location, very clean hotel. We stayed in a spacious room, with old wooden beams, it was very "old Europe". Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We chose the Savic based on the excellent reviews here and on other sites and we were not disappointed. The service from the hotel from their emails prior to our visit offering transfers to their help during our visit were absolutely first rate. The location on the edge of the old town pedestrianised area is superb and it is to easy to reach most areas of interest.
The accomodation was great with the beds being especially comfortable and the rooms very calm and relaxing in the midst of a hectic city. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of fresh fruit, cereals and cooked food and the staff remembered our preferences well over the three days we were there. The meals in the resturant were good and reasonable value with the potato soup in scouped out bread being particularly tasty.
We used their transfer service from the station when we arrived from Budapest and then to the airport at the end of our stay and it added greatly to our comfort at a very reasonable price.
The only improvements I would like to see is a better way of making tea in the rooms since we don't like drinking coffee at night and a wider range of tv channels.

Our family spent 4 days in Prague and booked the Savic Hotel after reading the reviews of previous guests.

The hotel is a real gem. Huge bedrooms with amazing beds, lovely bathrooms and although close to the Old Town Square it was very quiet at night. Breakfasts in the mornings are yummy and will set you up for a day of sightseeing. The only thing I can think of that would have improved my stay was a larger cup in the room for my morning tea, however if I had asked for this I am sure it would have been provided.

The staff are excellent, helpful and extremely hard working. Nothing was too much trouble and they always had a smile. The Restaurant food was very tasty and good value for money compared to others in the area.

This was our first visit to beautiful Prague and the hotel was so lovely and comfortable to go back to after long days walking in the city. No need for a car as you are able to walk to all the attractions. It felt very safe walking in the streets, even in the early hours of the morning. Wonderful shops with amazing crystal. Prague has something for all ages of traveller and a great night life if that is what you are looking for.

Such a special place. We would definately go back to The Savic when we are in Prague again.
