“what a pleasant experience!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2013

We chose the Savic hotel for a long weekend in Prague after reading all the good reviews here on Tripadvisor, we where not disappointed.
The hotel arranged for airport pickup and we where met by a very nice and friendly driver who took us to the hotel.
At the hotel we where welcomed by a very friendly member of the staff, she gave us all the information we needed and also assured us that she was there to help us with anything we might need to make our stay in Prague as pleasant as possible.
She also had some bad news, as a surprise to my girlfriend I had upgraded our room from a standard to a junior suite, when we arrived at the hotel there was a problem with the room so the first night was spent in a standard room, which by the way was a very nice room, the next day we where moved to a junior suite, free of charge as a courtesy for our troubles, thank you very much for that!
The location of the hotel was perfect for us, right in the middle of the old town, except for one trip on the tram to see the castle we could walk to everything we wanted to see and do.

Very friendly staff, spacious and nice rooms, perfect location, I will most definitively stay here again when I come back to Prague.

My friend and I billeted our ourselves in Savic because of the reviews and it was indeed true. In fact it was more beautiful and beyond our expectations. Mita, the receptionist that time was so accomodating and all the personnels there pleases their guests. The hotel rooms are big, the buffet breakfast was very good. But most of all I find the hotel charming, romantic, quaint and the location was excellent. We were satisfied and wishes to go back there again someday.

Room Tip: all rooms are nice.

We selected the Savic for our week-long stay in Prague because of the good Trip Advisor reviews, and we are so glad that we did. The hotel is in a great location, just a couple of blocks from Old Town Square and a short walk to the Charles Bridge. Our room (305) looked out over the narrow street, was large and very comfortable. Everything was of nice quality and very clean. The breakfast offered a lot of variety, including made-to order eggs. The staff was friendly and helpful, and spoke good English. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Prague. The Savic puts you within walking distance of all the major sights, ever the Castle. We didn't use the service, but the hotel will make arrangements for a private car to meet you at the airport. Our thanks to the other Trip Advisor users who reviewed this hotel; we wouldn't have selected it without those recommendations. It was a great place to stay! Prague is beautiful!

Room Tip: We selected the superior room, and the extra space in the room and location (we looked out on the st...

Savic Hotel is right in Old Town, just steps away from tons of shops, restaurants and the beautiful Old Town Square, Tyn Church, Astronomical Clock and the Jan Hus Memorial. If you don't like crowds, this place might not be for you but I liked it for the convenience. The rooms are fairly "old european" style but clean, comfortable and bathrooms are modern. Breakfast is in a nice little lobby area downstairs and its a decent spread.

We stayed here for 3 nights in February and it certainly lived up to its Tripadvisor reputation.

On arrival we were offered a glass of prosecco and given information on the city. Check in was quick although once we got to our room we found someone else's luggage, which was quickly removed after a quick call to reception. Our room was fairly large and had everything we needed, while the bathroom was modern. Breakfast was nice and there was a good buffet selection as well as cooked options.

The location of the hotel is great as it's very central and close to the sights and restaurants.

We arranged our airport transfers through the hotel and would recommend this as they offer a good service at a fair price.

If you're planning to stay in Prague I'd highly recommend hotel Savic.

This beautiful hotel is not to be missed! Right in the center of Prague, it boasts beautiful wooden furniture and an amazing lobby with a restaurant shrudded in greenery. Service is efficient and polite - staff at the reception was very helpful. The only negative thing I can think of is the fact that there was absolutely no view as you can only see the neighbouring building but this is central Prague and a 16th century building so it could be expected. Overall, highly-recommended! P.S. The cappuccino for breakfast was of the quality you can get in Italy!

We stayed in the Executive Suite, and I'll start with the positives. The front desk staff is helpful, friendly, enthusiastic and cheerful. This room is large and very comfortable. The king sized bed and pillows were perfect. Very little street noise came through the double-paned windows. The water pressure in the shower is strong and the soaker tub is deep and comfortable. There are black out curtains in thenroom. There is a lot of meat available for breakfast, not just bread and cereal.

The furniture in the sitting room is lovely, but a bit worn. There are a few tears and perhaps a bit of cleaning would be ok. To get to the upper floors you can take the stairs or elevator. The door from the common part of the hotel (public restaurant/bar etc), did not latch and we rarely needed to use our key to open it. Being very security conscious, I did not like this!

Great central location and the Americanos at Cafe Ebel just steps away are the best I've ever had! And I'll highly recommend the pivovar across the street!
