This hotel is a fantastic gem right behind the historical center. Close by are excellent places for a meal or a good beer.
Personnel is young and very professional. The place is spotless and flawless for a four-star rating.
We had a roon upgrade, and maybe that's a bias on my opinion.
Breakfast is very good, too bad there is no pork knuckles..... Just joking ;)

I can highly recommend this hotel. The staff are warm and welcoming and the location is fantastic. As the weather was hot while we were there for 3 days it was a welcome relief to come back each afternoon and put our feet up before heading out again for dinner. Our room was well appointed and spacious (junior suite) and the air conditioning a bonus for a European hotel. The breakfast was good and I was very impressed the way the staff accommodated my gluten free needs by providing GF bread, crisp breads and even a muffin one morning. Many thanks.

We stayed three nights at the hotel and had a great time. The reception gave us the most thorough and helpful introduction to the town when we checked in, and was in general super helpful.

The room was located at the top floor, and was smallish, buy really nice with lots of character. The location is also right in the middle of the tourist area (if that is what you are looking for), while still being quiet.

The downside of the top floor was that the wifi was flaky up there, plus the elevator only goes to the third floor.

Not a single bad thing to say about this hotel - it is absolutely stunning and the photos dont do it any justice. Staff is friendly, location is fantastic, couldnt have asked for more!! I was welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine, and later had dinner at the restaurant - delicious. Buffet breakfast was great, a lot of options for healthy eaters!
Loved my stay, thank you

* Location: The hotel's location really can't be beat. It's situated right by the old town square, and is just a short walk to everything you need to see in the city (nothing was out of walking distance - Josefov, Vinorady, Wenc Sq, Mala Strana - you can walk to them all from this hotel). Yes, you're right in the throng, but the hotel is off to a side street, which makes it a calm oasis amidst the crowds

* Service: Right from the start, service and hospitality of this hotel I'd give it 5*s. We communicated with various staff members (Jana, Lenka, Zdenek, Mira) and they were all extremely helpful + friendly, and willing to go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. At the hotel, every single staff member we encountered (breakfast staff, front desk, chamber ladies, everyone!) smiled and greeted us.

* Rooms: They have done their best to deck the property out with quality finishings (from the sink to the marble counters in the bathroom). The rooms are charming (ours had beautiful beams) and well equipped (Nespresso machines + iPod docks - what more could you ask for?). We are light sleepers, but didn't have an issue with noise from the street. In terms of room temperature, our a/c was fine throughout our stay.

Every glowing review you've read here about the Savic is spot on.

Side notes: We had nice meals at Nota Bene (a nice change from all the heavy traditional fare, also more than one beer on tap), as well as Lokal -- a modern beer hall doing traditional dishes at a slightly refined level than the usual U/Hospoda/Pivnices around town. If you're looking for a Michelin experience, La Degustation is recommended.

Room Tip: There are various types of rooms to choose from (including one that several members have mentioned a...

Very central location with front door only two minutes’ walk from the main square in the old town. And that means you here is only minutes from most of its top ten tourist highlights you are looking for. Please take off the well-trodden paths and including the Jewish quarter on the same side of the river and graffiti wall (J. Lennon) on the other side. Only small minus points for an unstable Wi-Fi (under repair) and some limited breakfast.
