“Fantastic Hotel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

Four of us stayed for three nights 2nd to 4th December 2012, we found the hotel on Tripadvisor and booked direct with the Savic. The hotel organised our taxis transport from and back to the airport . The Savic staff are very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The buffet style breakfast was delicious and loads of it, with eggs being cooked fresh by the chef. The rooms are very big with large comfy beds, clean towels every day even though we where only there for three days, beautiful L'occtaine products in the bathroom and a full size hairdryer. The nespresso coffee machine was a bonus, stocked mini bar with crisps and nuts. The location of the hotel was excellent two minute walk round the corner and your in the old square which at this time of year was beautiful with the Christmas market and fabulous Christmas tree. I have already raved about the Savic to friends and family and yes will definitely go back. So thank you to the staff at the Savic for making our holiday.

Once again we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Savic Hotel in Prague. The attention to detail in the hotel and the sumptious surroundings are fantastic with the location being so close to the Old Town it is perfect; with many restaurants and tourist attractions to visit.

The staff at the hotel are so helpful and friendly and the food provided is of high quality.

We will definitely be visiting this hotel again next time we visit Prague.

I went to this hotel based on trip advisor reviews and i was not dissapointed!! I dont think i can fault this place. Absolutely beautiful building, rooms where lovely, large with high ceilings, beams and parque flooring. They could have quite easily made double to rooms in this place but they havent and its made it a lovely place. I got excited about there being a Nespresso coffee machine and Locctaine toilettries. All good quality stuff. The buffet breakfast had everytrhing you'd want, including made to order egg dishes and pancakes. One thing i know the Brits will like is that they used a really nice tea bags which made for a great cup of tea in the morning, im from Yorkshire and im quite particular about my tea. The staff were great, extremely helpful and nice and smiley. Even though we were only there for 3 nights they knew who we were which is the great tihng about it being a smaller hotel. Location wise you couldnt get muich better. Just off the old Town Square on one the main little streets, just enough away so you didnt here the hustle and bustle and church bells. I will be recommending The Savic Hotel to all my friends and family and will be staying there if i ever go to Prague again.

Six of us - three couples - stayed at this hotel from 3rd December to 7th 2012. One of the couples had stayed here before and their recommendation could not have been better. It was central to the sights, the shops, the market place and for walking tours. it was clean and very comfortable, and the staff and food and facilities were of top quality. We would all recommend the hotel to friends and the public strongly and without reservation.

Room Tip: The bath needed a non-slip mat for use as a shower. Otherwise the hotel was excellent all round.

We have just returned from Prague, and it's magical Christmas Market. We stayed at the Savic Hotel,as we did on a previous visit.Since our last visit the hotel has maintained and even improved it's standards. It is perfectly placed for all Prague has to offer and all the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautifully kept.An excellent buffet breakfast is served and dinner is also available in the hotel. For it's position just off Old Time Square alone, the Savic excels. That all the elements that make for a terrific hotel experience are also present is a superb bonus.

My husband & I and 4 friends spent 5 days in Prague to experience the Christmas Market. Having been advised by some friends , who had stayed at The Savic last year, we booked this hotel. What a welcome 'garden' of peace and hospitality it was. From the moment we arrived to the minute of departure, we could not have had better service and attention - from all the staff. The rooms are spacious , very clean and comfortable and well equipped - tea & coffee + gorgeous toiletries- and rather quirky, every floor has its own sitting room, with superb furniture. Breakfasts were wonderful - make sure you ask for 1 poached egg, as 2 is the normal serving; and there was porrage. We can thoroughly recommend the gin & tonic. Tickets for guides, a concert and the tram were booked for us at the desk, saving us a lot of agitation. we would certainly book there again. Look out for the sparkling chanderliers.

Room Tip: We were on the 3rd floor and found the location perfect.

we have just returned from 4 nights in beautiful in Prague, this was our second visit to the city
We stayed at the Savic Hotel which was perfectly positioned just off the old square.

The hotel was once a Monastery and some of the old fixture and fitting remain in the hotel. We stayed in one of the Superior rooms with a ceiling that dated from the old monastery. The room was excellent and very comfortable with all mod cons. The cleanliness of the room and hotel was again excellent.

My only moan was that the breakfast was a little boring. The same choice every morning.

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. When we booked in we were treated to a drink and given all the info we would need to make our trip run smoothly. Brilliant knowledge of the local area and transport links etc.

I would not hesitate to book into the hotel again or recommend it.

Room Tip: any room in the hotel would be good value
