“Excellent hotel in central Prague”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 6, 2013

I stayed at this hotel for just 1 night and my stay was perfect. Though the hotel building is approximately 600 years old, rooms are large, spacy and with modern furniture. Location is fantastiс with Charles bridge just few hundred meters away from the hotel. Breakfast was very good, but not fantastic. Will definitely stay here again during my next visit to Prague.

Nice little hotel. Newly furnished. Very near the Prague Castle. Very good value for money and staff are nice. I would recommend this hotel and if a visit back to Prague beckons, I would certainly go back to this hotel. Do not expect too much from the breakfast spread though. No frills, hot and cold breakfast included in the deal.

We stayed here in December for 4 nights and found it to be a great base. Our large modern room overlooked the square and was very quiet. It had a huge bathroom complete with bathrobes which would fit an average Sumo wrestler!! Very clean and modern. Great breakfasts. Our only gripe was it's not good access with cases getting up and down the steps in to the hotel and the staff were a little indifferent and unhelpful. But, overall we would recommend it.

I stayed at the Three Storks for four nights and loved it! Rooms are large, comfortable and modern. The location is great with the parliament as your closest neighbour, and just some minutes walk to the castle and the Charlesbridge. The breakfast and service was average. But the hotel is still worth a try! All in all a great hotel, with wonderful rooms and super location!

Room Tip: Castle view from the highest floors.

Stayed in Room 22, beautiful, spacious, clean and modern. We only stayed for one night, wished we were staying longer. Everything was excellent, we had no complaints. Location too is excellent. 3 min walk to Charles Bridge. Staff lovely especially Helena. Will definitely return.

The staff here were unobtrusive yet perfect - anything we asked for assistance with they sorted. The restaurant which is within the hotel was excellent. We went there several times during our stay - the menu is fixed but there is plenty to choose from and it was reasonable value. No problem getting a table (we were there midweek).

Government buildings surround the hotel - lots of ministers and officials on the move. Fantastic view of the Castle. We did notice the constant stream of traffic edging its way past the hotel during the day but this was not a problem at night or in the morning.

Our room (a triple) was fantastic - spacious and well lit. Excellent shower but no bath.

One thing - if you like to drink lots of water it is expensive to buy bottles of it in the hotel for taking to your room and there are no shops in the locality to buy it so stock up!

Fantastic breakfast with over 50 items on the menu and all in stock right up to 10am unlike other hotels where you have to be up early to get something.

We walked everywhere from the hotel during our stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a front facing room with a view of the Castle
