Very nice hotel in the center of Prague7, great value, very clean and very well looked after guests. Room was spacious, free breakfast was Excelent. The share bathroom is not like you imagine in London or Paris will be but is very private and modern clean!

I needed a room for a night in Prague and unfortunately did not plan ahead, so I booked about a day in advance. Hotel Leon was the cheapest choice for a single room - I shared bathroom with another unit, but this was not a problem since it was just two rooms sharing the bathroom/shower, so not a big deal, I never saw the other guests.

The place is popular with younger groups, it's well located just outside a tram stop, which takes you to Holesovice Metro Station in 1 minute, then you are about 2 subway stops from anywhere downtown. So a pretty good location unless you plan to come in the middle of the night when transportation might be a bit more problematic.

Also there's a smoker's corner downstairs and the smoke often travels up the staircase to other floors, this is less than ideal setup. Hopefully they'll ban that soon and the place will be smoke-free completely since the reception has an unpleasant odor right now.

The breakfast was included, but was fairly bland with limited choice of cheap food.

In short, we did not feel safe at all walking to this hotel. It's located in an area riddled with old communist style apartment blocks and unmaintained facades. It is old, has questionable odors, and is far removed from the city center. It's saving grace is the charming older fellow who worked the front desk whose knowledge of the town was very helpful. And while I was unable to communicate with him in English, he was able to communicate with my wife in Russian.

very nice hotel with a good atmosphere... i recommend it to the visitors who want to spend most of their time out in the city and just rest in the hostel. you will find everything you need: clean room, bathroom facilities, good service, tv, internet access... breakfast is offered in the morning but for those of you who are a litle picky i suggest to breakfast somewhere else. you cant really choose much to eat. but the family atmosphere of the staff is worth it. the price is very reasonable ,one of the best deals you can find this close to downtown... enjoy :)
