Czech inn is a big hostel/hotel in the best part of the real Prague. Few tram/bus stops from the city centre. Located in the young and alternative part of the city where you can experience the real life o the capital, do not forget to discover Krymska street with its pubs and bars. Also Zizkov district is at walking distance. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The hostel has a bar and offers free walking tour every morning. Only bad thing: there is no kitchen... :(

Great place to stay, felt like a cross between a boutique hostel and a hotel. Our first two nights we stayed in the 36 bed dorm - it doesn't feel there are that many people in it because it is actually several rooms connected by doors (all rooms share the same bathroom though). We liked how each bed had a locker, curtain, light and outlet. Bathrooms were OK. The 36 bed room is right beside the lobby and can thus be really loud as that is sometimes where guests hang out and drink (when downstairs bar is closed). The location was pretty good - you could walk to the old city centre in 20 mins or take the tram.

Room Tip: 36 bed dorm is not as bad as it sounds!!

My family (4 adults and my daughter) stayed in one of the apartments on the 5th floor if this hostel/hotel. The apartment was clean and very spacious, it could just done with a few more pans for cooking.

The Czech in is ideally placed for the city's transport system and visiting the city, and the superb staff at reception are incredibly helpful. We had a great time in the city and would certainly visit again.

My friends and I stayed here for a few nights and loved it. The rooms were very comfortable and elegant. Our suite had roof access, which was great. They had a delicious breakfast buffet that we partook in every morning. Staff was very friendly and helpful and offered a bunch of cool things, like a walking tour of the city (highly recommended) and pub crawls, and helped us out with the city transit systems. We met tons of awesome people and had a blast. Highly recommended

I stayed here for five nights in a 4 bed room and it was a great stay. Very clean, big lockers, very helpful staff. I definitely suggest doing the free walking tour, its about 3 hours long and it shows you exactly how to get into the city center, thanks to that tour I knew where to go and it made things a lot easier! They also have a really awesome pub crawl for about 20 euros, and it was the most fun Ive ever had, seriously. And its a great way to meet cool people! The location was not bad, it was about a 5-10 minute walk from the Namesti Miru station which brings you right into the city center and many other touristy areas. There's also a bunch a good restaurants in the area to, so if you have yelp definitely check them out. Ill definitely be staying there again next time im in Prague!

Our experience at Czech Inn made it my favourite hotel on our 5 city tour. We stayed in a private ensuite room, which I believe is considered part of the hotel and not hostel portion. The location is fantastic. We were a bit skeptical when we looked at the location on google maps street view before our trip but the neighborhood is not bad at all. The hotel is easily accessible by using the 22 tram, which runs very frequently. We were never waiting long. From that tram you can connect to others or use the metro (as we did) to get wherever in Prague that you need to go. I was so impressed with the staff from the moment we checked in. The reception desk was incredibly helpful and gave us more information than we expected. The woman who checked us in gave us each maps and drew the different districts, showed us where we could get fantastic views, and marked down some additional restaurants for us. She made getting to a new city and trying to figure out where to start not as daunting. Our room was excellent. We had both a double and single bed and the room was very large. Our room had wifi included as it was a private room but it it is also available in the lobby free of charge and we used the provided computer and their printer at one point as well. The shower in our room is worth raving about. At first glance the industrial design of the bathroom made it seem a bit cold but that was easily overlooked. Our shower had a large rainfall shower head and was amazing. I would absolutely recommend the Czech Inn and plan to stay there again the next time that I am in Prague.

This hostel is located right besides the 22 tram station. THe tram one will be using all around when in Prague. The staff is great and will help you can get in contact with many interesting activities in the city and it's surroundings. Highly recommended.
The breakfest is amazing as well.
