Cozy and charming hotel. In a middle of historical part of the Prague's downtown. Close to Wenceslav square, Old Town square with the famous clock. Close to several nice pubs with famous Czech beer.
(The Pilsner is the best). But avoid the pub and restaurant "U Vejvodu", (rip of place).
I have enjoyed my stay in the hotel.

Located just five minutes walk to the Astronomical Clock or the Charles bridge, and perhaps 10 minuets to the Jewish Quarter and the old city, on a quite street, one could not be in a better location as it enables you to take a midday break and continue after refreshing.

A small boutique hotel with about twenty, nicely appointed rooms with comfortable beds and furnishing. The hotel staff is very friendly and eager to tend to any of your needs.
Breakfast is served in the cozy and elegant reception area with food selections to please just about anyone's taste. The hot drinks machine offers a wide selection of fresh brewed coffees and cocoa, and the cold drinks offer fresh Orange and Mango juices. The breakfast buffet also offers a Variety of meats, cheeses, fresh vegetables, selection of breads, jams and more.

What to improve? Softer towels, some better soaps and shampoos :-)
We loved the place, we'll be back!

It's a hotel in the centre of Prague, my family and me really enjoy our weekend at the hotel. The room is very comfortable. The staff gave us a lot of information about the city and lovely places to visit and allways get ready to help. All the hotel was very clean. I would not hesitate to return there or recomend all my friends to go there. i only can give a 10. Excellent!

We were in Prague to visit family, and the Red Chair was on a list chosen by our relative because of good reviews and location. We picked it from the list after talking to one of the reception staff members. We weren't disappointed. If you are looking for a good value hotel, not luxury but with good facilities, in the old centre of Prague, this is a great choice.

It's convenient for everything, yet on a quiet side street, near beautiful little Bethlehem square. The booking process was easy with staff who were charming on the phone and in emails.

We booked the hotel's airport pick-up both ways, as we had never been to Prague before and don't speak Czech. We didn't have the hotel's promised English-speaking driver-who-would-tell-us-about-Prague, but the service was fine and the price as agreed. (When we went back to the airport we did have the hotel driver, Premysl, and he explained that, unusually, he couldn't make it for our arrival, but he does almost always pick up guests. He's so friendly and helpful; if he is your driver that will be a lovely welcome to Prague).

The room was large, king size bed, very comfortable bedding and pillows, a nice clean bathroom, good shower. We luckily didn't have noisy people in neighbouring rooms, unlike a previous reviewer.

The (included) breakfast is fine--breads, cereal, yogurts, cold meats, hard-boiled egg, fruit, etc. (I did think the coffee and hot water in the urns didn't stay quite hot enough, but there was also a cappuccino etc machine you could use).

As had been said, all the young staff members at reception speak excellent English, and from your first enquiry they take the time to make you feel they really care about you. They help you get oriented with the map, they recommend restaurants, and are all-round helpful. You feel that they take pride in their work and really want you to enjoy your stay.

We will go back to the Red Chair next time we visit Prague--which we hope will be soon, it is such a beautiful city.

Room Tip: There is no lift, so if stairs are a problem ask for lower floor/s.

The hotel is a small facility in the historic city center. About a 10 minute walk to all of the main attractions and surrounded by top notch (and inexpensive) restaurants and bars. Located on a very quiet street despite being in the center of the action (windows also have double glazing) . Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, speak English fluently. Rooms were clean comfortable attractive with minibar and free WIFI. Buffet breakfast was substantial with lots of choices. Airport Transfers were provided by the hotel at a 10% discount to the standard taxi fare to the center of the city. (About 24 Euros) Considering the location, service, amenities and room rates, I would consider this hotel an excellent value. Would return here when I come back to Prague.

Room Tip: Call the desk directly for help, better than booking on line. Arrange for the hotel pick up which is...
