The location of Red Chair Hotel is great. It's in a perfect place to enjoy the city centre and still on a calm street, without disturbing noise. If you have a car, you can park it inside which is pretty unique in the city centre. The best thing about this hotel is the combination of location, price and staff. You get a really warm welcome and the staff is available to help you with anything you might need or want to know. To get this kind of quality service with such a low price is great. If you are planning to visit Prague, I can recommend this hotel.

I received the warmest welcome on arrival I've ever had at a hotel from the lovely Gabriela, she had a big smile on her face before I even got across the threshold. All of the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful and with great English. Definitely five stars plus for staff. The hotel itself is in a great location, a short walk from the Charles Bridge and Old Town Square and also close to a metro stop. Although travelling alone I had booked a double room, it was large, very comfortable and very clean, more than enough space for two people. Breakfasts were great and more than enough to keep me going to a late lunch or early dinner depending on how engrossed I got in sight-seeing. Definitely highly recommended, especially if you'd rather stay somewhere with a bit of character and warmth rather than a new modern box. Don't miss the Choco cafe next door to the hotel either, wicked hot chocolate!

This hotel is close to everything, with many nice restaurants, cafes and pubs, as well as the major tourist attractions, and still, it is in a small, calm street without any noisy traffic. The staff was very helpful, and we could not ask for a better breakfast. The room was very large and clean, and the beds were very comfortable (actually more comfortable than our bed back home :-). A big plus was that there was a safe in the room so you did not have to carry all your money and your passport with you when you venture out in the streets. We would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Our room at the back, towards the ballet school, was very quiet.

We stayed here for 4 days after Christmas 2011. From the outside, the hotel does not look very inviting and the reception is a little dark. However the rooms which are across the courtyard are bright, clean, warm and spacious. The location of this hotel is just the best. Near enough to Charles Bridge to walk to the other side, and also right at the heart of restaurants, shops and other tourist attractions, so that you can walk everywhere. Do not wear heels..the cobbled streets will make it really uncomfortable. When we went there was a lot of snow but it was so magical, and the Christmas Market was beautiful. Would definitely recommend this hotel for price and cleanliness
Enjoy!!

As mentioned by others, the location of the Red Chair Hotel is terrific. Close to all the major sites, but on a quiet street. We really appreciated the very helpful and friendly staff. Also, as we arrived quite late at night, their offer to arrange car service to pick us up at the airport made our arrival very easy. Would definitely recommend the Red Chair and would stay there again on our next trip to Prague.

I booked the single room, but was given a free upgrade to a double room. The staff of the Red Chair Hotel are all very helpful and happy to assist you with any request you may have. They were able to provide (a selection of!) gluten free bread for breakfast. The breakfast itself is a standard continental one.

My room was nice and clean. The location of the hotel is very good, most interesting places are within walking distance and there is a nice little square just around the corner.

If you like small, intimate hotels, then this should be high on your list for Prague.

We have just spent 4 nights in Prague and have absolutely loved it. The Red Chair has been a perfect location for us. We have walked everywhere & the staff are extremely helpful with giving us directions, and showing us on the map where the places are we want to go plus making suggestions on where to eat.

Our room was on the back side and it was nice and quiet. Rooms were clean and comfortable, it was great to have a drawer safe, certainly big enough to fit everything we needed it for plus our laptop. Breakfast in the morning was a perk. It consisted of cereal, cold cheese and meats, hard boiled eggs, yoghurts and breads etc. Quite amble for our needs. Plus they have a machine where you can get complementary coffee, hot chocolate, lattes and hot water whenever you please. Someone is always on staff to assist you.
We would definitely recommend the Red Chair to friends and family.
