Stayed at the lokal Inn for 3 nights mid November 2013. Booked a deluxe double room. When we checked in and was shown to our room they had given us room 34 which was in the attic. The room was lovely, massive room with king size comfortable bed. a sofa and seating area, flat screen tv and mini-bar.
Bathroom was a good size and very clean.
Staff were very friendly and helpful when asking directions and booking our taxis to and from the airport.
Breakfast was buffet style, eggs, meats, salad, waffles, toaster and toast sandwich maker.
We didn't eat or drink in the hotel but the downstairs bar was busy each night.
Hotel was situated on a quiet street around 50 metres from the Charles bridge on the Mala Strana side. The hotel is also close to franz kafka museum, John Lennon wall and the love lock bridge.
I would 100% recommend this hotel especially if you can book the large rooms in the attic,

Just 2 minutes from the Castle end of the Charles Bridge but on a quiet side street in a building from the 1730s - Perfect! Then we were shown to our room: a huge suite with 2 custom king sized beds, organic linens, parquet floors, frescoed ceilings, a new very well equipped bathroom, a stocked mini-fridge that was reasonably priced and a quiet balcony overlooking the courtyard. The breakfast was substantial as long as you don't wait until the last minute on a Sunday. The price was very reasonable. The check-in staff were willing to help with anything and made concert reservations for us (we highly recommend the afternoon concert at the Lobcovitz Palace). The cleaning staff were so meticulous, they even folded our teenager's clothes. I would highly recommend the Lokal Inn.

My husband have a knack for picking B&B's all over the world, and have stayed at some pretty great places...but Lokal Inn has been our favorite. We were placed in a beautiful room, very large, clean and uniquely decorated. The breakfast was incredible every morning...and couldn't wait to get downstairs because it smelled so GOOD! The downstairs restaurant bar does get very crowded in the afternoon-nights, but once you go upstairs and get in your room you cannot hear anything. The location was absolutely perfect...a 5 min walk to Charles Bridge...plus it was in an area of town where the particular street and neighborhood were very relaxed and chill compared to the chaotic Prague streets. For the value I highly recommend this place. Fresh fruits for breakfast, coffee, fresh waffles, eggs etc. for breakfast. The beer is also great!

Didn't stay but did eat twice.
Food is standard Czech meat + potato/dumplings. Some good sausages and black pudding. The beer is really well kept and served.
On the subject of service the best looking waitress in Prague was a real bonus.

Spent 2 nights here last month. Excellent location and Inn. Clean and quiet room, comfortable bed, nice sitting area and fridge. Best of all was the helpful staff and very busy restaurant. The beer and food were excellent. We wish they opened the restaurant at 11:00 rather than 11:30 but overall nice convenient place. You have to book your reservation early at the restaurant because it is busy. Wireless was off and on.
