Stayed in the Courtyard for 4 nights. It is a lovely clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The only downside was we arrived at 11am and check in was not till 3pm. The staff offered to keep our luggage in storage till check in, which was great. There is a great shopping center straight across the road, which has everything, including the metro on the bottom floor. It only cost a couple of euro for a 24hr pass, and only takes 5 minutes to get into the old town, which is breathtaking and worth the visit. Make sure you validate your ticket before going on the metro, as there are ticket inspectors checking all the time. The old town is quite expensive to eat in, so we ate at the shopping center, which has a large food hall on top floor with plenty of seating. The food is lovely and so inexpensive. For a plate of chinese food and drink cost less than 5 euro. There is also mcdonalds, KFC, pizza parlour, Fresh bagels and baguettes and delicious dessert and fresh fruit smoothie stands. As for a night out, there is a lovely pub just a few hundred yards from hotel facing shopping center. It has a outside covered seating area and the local beers are lovely and only cost about 1.50euro a pint. The breakfast in the hotel was lovely, a buffet with everything you can think off. The hotel was quite a bit from the old town, but with the metro so near, it was better to be in a quite area without the noise from all the tourists and traffic around. The gym in the hotel was small, but was mostly empty and equipment was good. The hotel rooms were spacious and clean with a free safe and mini fridge to keep milk fresh if you dont like the powered milk in the room. The bathroom was very clean and the rooms were cleaned daily. The tv was quite large and had 4 or 5 english speaking channels. Overall my stay at the courtyard was great and i would come again.
