Stayed in the Courtyard for 4 nights. It is a lovely clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The only downside was we arrived at 11am and check in was not till 3pm. The staff offered to keep our luggage in storage till check in, which was great. There is a great shopping center straight across the road, which has everything, including the metro on the bottom floor. It only cost a couple of euro for a 24hr pass, and only takes 5 minutes to get into the old town, which is breathtaking and worth the visit. Make sure you validate your ticket before going on the metro, as there are ticket inspectors checking all the time. The old town is quite expensive to eat in, so we ate at the shopping center, which has a large food hall on top floor with plenty of seating. The food is lovely and so inexpensive. For a plate of chinese food and drink cost less than 5 euro. There is also mcdonalds, KFC, pizza parlour, Fresh bagels and baguettes and delicious dessert and fresh fruit smoothie stands. As for a night out, there is a lovely pub just a few hundred yards from hotel facing shopping center. It has a outside covered seating area and the local beers are lovely and only cost about 1.50euro a pint. The breakfast in the hotel was lovely, a buffet with everything you can think off. The hotel was quite a bit from the old town, but with the metro so near, it was better to be in a quite area without the noise from all the tourists and traffic around. The gym in the hotel was small, but was mostly empty and equipment was good. The hotel rooms were spacious and clean with a free safe and mini fridge to keep milk fresh if you dont like the powered milk in the room. The bathroom was very clean and the rooms were cleaned daily. The tv was quite large and had 4 or 5 english speaking channels. Overall my stay at the courtyard was great and i would come again.

Room Tip: We had a room overlooking the courtyard at the back and there was no traffic noise.

During our visit in August 2013 to Prague, we had a chance to stay in this property for two nights and it was lovely. Recently furbished, great rooms, high floors, clean rooms, big bath rooms with proven Marriott standard and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. A little far from the City Center but connected well with trams and underground (which is across the street with a big shopping mall).

The only warning I like to give is the service at the Front Desk. This is exceptionally POOR side because of understaffed. Only one girl you can find anytime of the day. Have enough time for check-in, check-out and to get coffee, small items from the lobby market. Can't imagine the reception girl handles this also!!!! You can't blame her but that is the way it is!!

Don't really appreciate how such ill managed reception function in a Marriott property?

Have given feedback to the hotel but does not expect any improvement!!

Good breakfast but poor dinner service with one page menu to choose from!! May be there are no dinner demands but if you have a good restaurant with varieties of food samples, the crowd will be there!!

Anyway, we had enjoyed our stay !!!

Room Tip: Try to select high floor rooms

The location is a bit far from attractions. We were spending a lo of money on cads until we finally learned how to use their train system. There's really no much around the hotel. I suppose it's more for business people. There is a beautiful old cemetery down the road if you're into that kind of thing. The staff was pleasant and helpful. No complaints except that my sister and I HS to share a king sized bed.

Three night stay in Prague with the family in two rooms at this hotel. Clean rooms and good beds. Parking was convenient right at hotel. Hotel is in residential neighborhood about 2 miles from City Center but was easy to get to via train which you can catch at the mall right around corner. Local restaurants, shops and bakeries were also great and within walking distance. Not tourist stops, there were local places which was refreshing and a treat for real Czech food and people. Hotel was very affordable. The highlight of this hotel for me was the front desk staff. Hands down the friendliest and most helpful of our entire trip whether you needed a dinner recommendation, place to run or a train question, etc.

It is a very good hotel, clean, though it´s a bit far from everything, it is very well situated in an area with plenty of things to do. It is situated in a residential area, with a shopping mall behind and tram is very close by.

Breakfast is very good, but no wi fi in every room so you have to be in the lobby to have signal; the plus is that is no charge for it, and I will recommend this hotel, and also come back for sure.
