This is a brilliant hostel to stay in for a reasonable price as hostels go. In easy walking distance from the train station which is great with heavy bags. Also in a great location relative to the old town and attractions if you can navigate yourself through the streets. When we arrived, the lady on the desk was very helpful and even lent us her own map of Prague as the one supplied wasnt great so Id go equipped with one already. Furthermore, paying on arrival was optional which is great if your a bit strapped for cash or tired when you get there.
The room was great. There were three of us staying and there were four beds which meant a little extra room. The best thing about the room was the kitchen, which made the room more like an appartment. Really well kitted out and it had an oven, which was lacking in the other hostels we stayed in. A small table and two chairs to eat at but not much room for anyone else. The bathroom was shared with another room but was really clean (as was the room) and large.
Lastly the room had a secure lock and the common room had a secure key pad where the code change every day so people couldnt walk in off the street. In there was free internet access on two computers which was great and also another kitchen and lots of tables and chairs with a TV in the corner.
I would defo stay here again!!!

Room Tip: Try and stay in the room at the top up the stairs from the common room.

Me and 7 of my friend stayed in Rosemary for 4 days. The room is very cosy and they have toilet embaded. Hostel also provide kettle and enough plug point to charge phone,lAptop or hairdry. Staff were very helpful. Location wise is quite a walk but still at central area. However i left my jacket in the room, email them to look for it but in the end they could not find, i was really dissPointed but again its my fault. Overall,We were very happy with our stay and recommend ppl who wish to stay in a hostel to choose rosemary!

We stayed at Hostel Rosemary for 3 nights. The staff were very helpful and assisted us with our queries, and the room was very spacious (there were only 2 of us, and we were given the top floor - an self-contained apartment that could sleep 7!). However, the elevator was a bit frightening, and the staircase was off limits, which made us wonder what we would do in case of an emergency... And the shower was bad - either scolding hot or freezing cold, no in between! Besides that, we had a lovely stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hostel Rosemary. The room was warm - believe me, that's the most important thing when you travel in winter -, and clean enough. The beds were comfortable, nice pillows and warm covering sheets. The bathrooms were also cleaned everyday, and the only problem we had is that it run out of warm water, so we had to wait a few hours to take a shower. The kitchen was a nice ambiance to chill, very clean, coffee and tea were free. Nice wi-fi, good computers and a helpful staff also made our stay very comfy.
The location is the best feature of the hostel. Nearby is Wenceslas Square, and there's no tourist sight too far from there that you can't walk to - the city centre is about 5 minutes walk or less. The perpendicular street is full of restaurants and bars, there's a mini market 24h very useful there, and a wonderful bakery just on the corner. On the other corner is the square that leads to the international train station. At the Wenceslas Square there's the metro line. The tram runs through the crossing street.
In sum, I shared a 3 beds room with 2 friends, so the room was all ours and our stay was very comfy - one of the most comfortable hostels I've been, I guess. The people we met in the common area were also very nice. We had no problem in sharing the bathroom or the toilet.
There's also a luggage room, which was very useful, and an elevator.

Likes:
Within a 10 minute walk from Hlavni Nadrazi train station, Old town, and Wenceslas Sq
Free Wifi
Kitchen common area availiable with fridge to store your drinks/food
Can buy water from the front desk, though lots of convience stores around
Owners were nice enough to let me stay in the common area after check out until my late train departure

Dislikes
No lockers (at least in my dorm beside the common area)
Common area washroom is split into two seperate rooms, a toilet with no wash basin and the tub/sink . Not hard to figure out that after one uses the toilet, if the tub is being used - where to wash your hands.

Overall
Good value for location. But no lockers for backpackers kind of concerns me.
