“Everything we could have wanted!”
Reviewed November 6, 2006

6 of us (3 couples) stayed for 3 nights. We picked the hotel because of its central location. Our room overlooked the main Wenceslas Square, but the double glazing was so efficient! We couldn't hear a thing at night. It was absolutely fabulous. We all had great rooms with superb bathrooms. The only slightly negative thing about them was that one of the rooms had no view (just brick walls) but nevertheless the room was great., and they were kept absolutely gleaming. The hotel staff were extremely obliging. They ordered a superb minibus to take us to the airport - he charged a very reasonable rate and gave us a guided tour at the same time! The location can't be beaten. Breakfast was OK. (Not superb, but very adequate). One tip: some of the rooms have a platform around the bed - watch them! I managed to break a toe on the corner of said platform!

All in all a fabulous break - and when we go back, we'll certainly stay at the Prague Inn again.

Went with a group of girls, well situated extremely helpful and friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone. (Only negative was that the room was very warm).

We decided on this so called 4 star hotel (in our view and other guests prob no more than a 2 star).

Location was very good, but being disabled we picked this hotel because it had a swimming pool and fitness center as well as massage on the premises. Only to be told by the most incompetent staff that the pool is 20 euro for each visit and its 10 mins WALK away or there is a cheeper one thats 15 mins TRAIN journey away!! the massage service by the way, is by somesort of weird concept that the staff are actually blind!!
The receptionist did comment that they get many complaints about the lack of ANY facilities and the fraudulent and deceptive hotel descriptions that are on most sites.
The breakfast is not worth writing about, The Aircon didnt work, no room service at all, the room wasnt too bad and a nice bathroom, shame about the many legged bugs on the floor! and also strange was the TV was on the floor (no table) very difficult to watch from bed! Oh yes dont use their so called own Taxi service it let us down, when questioned the receptionist shrugged her shoulders and said they forgot to pick us up!!

  • Liked — checking out
  • Disliked — deceptive hotel description
  • Tips/Secrets — theres plenty better hotels out there

I chose the hotel based on it's location. My partner's parents came with us and his mother was celebrating her 81st birthday. The hotel certainly was the right choice from this point of view.
It was over 30°C (HOT!) when we arrived and unfortunately the air conditioning didn't work in the first room we were given. The receptionist treated me like an idiot that didn't know how to operate such a modern device. It was only after the restaurant manager came to the room and agreed that we would be better off sleeping in the corridor, that the offer was made to change rooms. I shudder to think of what would have happened had another room not been available.
The second room was very large and comfortable and had a great bathrrom.
The hotel has excellent security: the room key card is required to access your floor and security cameras everywhere.

Breakfast was average.
The hotel has been open less than a year and the receptionist had been there less than 1 week. It will be a great hotel if they can get their act together.
