Hotel has no lift just 3 flights of stairs. If you are on the third floor that's 50 steps to drag your luggage up.clean but much needed to improve it. The toilet is too small and you need to put your feet out of the doorway to be comfortable. The shower basin is too shallow and floods every time despite the curtains. The sink had no plug. Buffet breakfast never changed and the juice (orange) was watery. Coffee tasted of nothing. No evidence of a restaurant within either. The tv has 4 channels none in english. The wifi is intermittent and unreliable. It is close to town centre and on tram route 14. The only consolation - Its cheap but other hotels offer much more for the price. Disappointed

Room Tip: Don't choose a road side room. Noisy tram but also late night revelers at 3am still celebrating...

Don't stay at this hotel, it's terrible! No elevator, only wood round stairs that takes to the rooms. Two of my friends had to go to their room through the balcony! Very small lobby and the staff consisted of only one person! Worst hotel ever... The rooms were so small and breakfast is bad. We placed the towels on the floor so that they change them, they kept them on the floor and didn't put new ones. After a day of touring, we were so exhausted that we managed to sleep but in a dismal place.

Room Tip: If there's no other place to stay in Prague, make sure you get a room on the first floor so as n...

Yes, that's true that the Hotel Colloseum Praha belongs to the cheapest hotels in the city centre of Prague. But the difference of price between the avarage hotels is not to high to appologize the horrible quality of this hotel. This hotel is not able to fulfill any european standard for 3* hotel. The location is not bad - Prague 2 is wider city center and Myslíkova street, where is the hotel situated, is next to Karlovo náměstí (Charle's square), what is well-known place with the underground station. To get there by public transport is easy, because from underground (line B) it is realy not far. But the individual transport to this hotel by car I can't recommend because the hotel doesn't have any parking. You can park in public garage in Karlovo náměstí, what is not even cheap.

The reception looked even rather normal. But when I passed through the curtain to the accomodation-part of hotel everything went horrible. Terrible stairs, no elevator, each floor so ugly, all spaces so dark. My room was situated in the 3rd floor. In addition to it the approach to my room was through the porch. And on that porch was placed some used furniture in addition. It is not very safe when you come back to your room at the night.

But the worst thing was the room. Access by normal simple key and then.. I switched on all the lights in the room but the room was still too dark. Everything was smelled terribly. All equipment is old, cheap and ugly. I had real doubts about the cleanliness - probably because of it are all spaces too dark. Overall it looks like as an old public-house. Equipment is simple - double bed, very small TV, in the bathroom shower with so ugly curtain. The old bed can't offer very comfortable sleeping.

In the other hand, the common room for breakfast in the ground-floor looks modern. But the breakfast is very simple, choice is minimal and food is very cheap. Although the Hotel Colloseum Praha provides very cheap accomodation I can't recommend it - I recommend to pay little bit more and choose another hotel.

I booked this hotel on a short notice and staff was friendly and helpful. Location was also good, close to city center. They had also luggage room, which helped us when we wanted to have a walks in the center after check out. That was positive side.
The room was very dark, oriented into quad. Blankets were dirty and there was cigarette smell in the bathroom (inspite of sign that no smoke). Breakfast room very cold in this autumn weather.
Hotel looks actually nice from outside, but when you step in, it has no style and is also below standard for 3 star hotel (in terms of facilities, cleanliness and services).

My room had a very strange smell, the bathroom was dark and seemed to be dirty, the sheets and towels were in bad condition and the breakfast was awful. Additionaly, there was no wifi in the rooms. The only thing positive about this hotel is its location.

Great location in the center, close to river, close to public transport.. but there was old bathroom, no lift in the hotel and very old cicrcle stairs, poor breakfast and small breakfast room. Never again even better price. They want you charge cash eve the mashine for credit cards works. do not belevie them it is out of order.

Room Tip: there is no lift, so stay down

Stayed at this hotel some time ago as a surprise for my boyfriend's birthday - he was staying in Prague for a few months and I thought I'd pop over and treat him. Unfortunately I think we would have been more comfortable in the apartment he was situated in - the room didn't seem ready for us; it was dirty, there were sheets missing and it generally all felt rather grotty. However, the staff were nice and the breakfast was alright. Seemed a lot more like a slightly dodgy yet nice ish B&B overall.
