Hotel Hastal has an excellent location in Old Town. We also stayed at the Corinthia Towers on the same trip as part of a river cruise and preferred Hotel Hastal because of its central location-everything was in walking distance. The room we had was quiet and had a good view of Old Town Prague. The breakfast was good in a typical European style.

hotel has a really exceptional location in the OLD TOWN, in the heart of this beautiful city, thanks also to a very kind and family feeling atmoshere, perfectly fit with a very good hotel service and ecquipments, we've enjoyed our stays as much we could.
Highly recommended the hotel restaurant with a typical czech cuisine and, of corse, beer!

We booked this hotel based on the Tripadvisor reviews, and we were not dissappointed. The rooms were clean, large enough by European standards and very quiet. The location is great, right next to Old Town and within walking distance to nearly everything. The mattresses were firm, but we all slept extremely well. The breakfast was very good.

The staff at the front desk was very helpful, and spoke excellent English. They helped us arrange day trips and provided maps and directions to different sites.

When we return to Prague this will be out hotel.

I have been for the first time at Prague. Friend of mine recomended Hotel Hastal as a hotel with good value for money and fantastic location near Old Town Square. I can confirm that he was right. The hotel is clean, nice and service is fantastic.

We stayed here for 4 nights at the end of march. it was the 2nd time we had stayed in this hotel but would have reservations staying here again.
First of all the location, one word excellent, no more then a 3 min stroll to the old town, plenty of resaurants and bars near by.
The hotel itself is very nice, it has a restaurant attached but have never tried so cant coment but the menu did look good and wasnt overly priced.
The rooms are nice and spacious, Bathrooms are good size and nothing to complain about.

The bad point, we were given room 57 which is on the top floor right next to lift which you hear all night long, if you are planning on staying here i would ask for a quiet room away from the lift as would effect rooms 11, 16, 21, 26 ect.

We did ask to be moved after one night but unfortunately they said they were fully booked even tho we saw 3 differnt rooms check out. after asking agin they still said they were fully booked but did manage to change our room 20 mniutes later.

The breakfast room is small and if the hotel is full you are often left standing waiting for a table.

When i asked the hotel were the nearest internet cafe was they lent me a lap top so i could use it in my room which had free wifi,

Apart from the noisy lift we didnt really have anything to complain about.
