We arrived several hours before check-in, but Eva greeted us with a smile, stored our luggage and said our rooms would be ready in an hour. She gave us a map and some suggestions to get us started on our exploration of Prague. Upon check in we found our rooms
clean and quiet. Eva helped us set up our City Tour of Prague for the next day. Breakfast buffet had plenty of options. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We had a pleasant stay and would definitely stay again.

Last January I stayed for 6 nights in Hotel Hastal, located about a 7-minute walk northeast of the Old Town Square. My room was much larger than I had expected it to be for the price, so I was thrilled about that, and the bathroom was spacious as well, including a full-sized bathtub, not easy to find in this price range. Everything was extremely clean and the decor was tasteful, and this felt more like a business-class hotel that would have cost 2 or 3 times the price of Hotel Hastal, so I felt that this hotel was a real bargain. The breakfasts were varied and plentiful, and the breakfast room doubles as a fun little bar occasionally in the evening. There is a new chef who is inventive and experienced, the food was scrumptious, including the one dinner I had there. The location can't be beat, as it is central/equidistant to everything. The staff was very helpful, and I had many questions (particularly about transportation) since this was my first visit to Prague. Especially helpful were Tomas and Veronika, and I felt well taken care of by them. There is Wi-Fi as well, either in the lobby or the rooms (although it was a bit spotty on the 3rd floor). I spent much time researching where to stay in Prague, and was very happy with my choice of Hotel Hastal. Thanks to all the staff, from Cynthia!

Room Tip: The rooms on the street overlook the church, and are not noisy at night.

A lovely, lovely hotel. It's so central - 5 minutes walk from the Old Town Square with the astrological clock and lots of other beautiful sights - and it's really reasonably priced. The hotel driver can pick you up and drop you off at the airport which was a lovely stress-free touch. The hotel staff were also really helpful with things like printing off an email reservation for us and hiring a taxi for us. The breakfasts are great and big - again good value for money. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel that does amazing food. The rooms are cute, very airy with big windows and great views. RECOMMENDED - really pleased at how great an experience we had for a low, low price.

Whilst staying at the ecellent Hotel Casa Marcello close to St Agnes Monastry we popped into the restaurant of the Hotel Hastal which was only meters away where we found a delightful eating place. Barbara Sampalik Mace made us 'Four Sweet Ladies' ,as she and her very friendly staff came to call us, so very welcome.. Barbara and husband Chef Petr Sampalik have recently taken over the homely and warm - most important on our freezing 3 day break - restaurant specialising in fish but with meat also on offer (I had a most delicious rabbit meal). The blackboard behind the bar announces 'fresh cooked meals all served with a smile' and Barbara and her waiter certainly fulfilled that promise. Very highly recommended!!!

We valuate excellent stay at Hotel Hastal during our visit of Prague.
Not only due to the occuring and staying directly in the center of famous Prague historic sites and famous and also recommended cultural events.
All supporting services organized by hotel starting from securing pickup and drop off from and to the PRG airport by friendly and helpful driver Michael, continuing with professional and hearty hotel staff helping in any moment and any situation, made our stay carefree and happy.
The hotel is ideally situated, roughly 200 meters from the Old Town Square, for walking around Pragues numerous historic sites.
The Standard room we had was exceedingly comfortable, warm, large and for reasonable price. We enjoyed unexpected gift of a complimentary bottle of wine in the room on our arrival.
Many thks to all Hotel staff for making our stay so comfortable.
We will definitely recommend to our friends and family to use and enjoy Standard room in Hotel Hastal during their stay in Prague and look forward being back and see you again! Our future choice is again Hotel Hastal.

Room Tip: Definitly choose Standard Room. Good proportion of Quality : Price

This is one of these places that are rare to find. Adorable staff, a home away from home like an oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the old town square which is pleasant a 5 min walk, everything crisp clean (and my standards are pretty high), gorgeous breakfast, brandnew bathrooms, and lots of beautiful big windows in the room, which open out to a pretty and quiet square, facing a church- loved the serenity. The windows are really well insulated so you cant hear a thing from outside if youre a Light sleeper. Me and my friend slept with the windows open and didnt hear a thing overnight. 24 hr reception was perfect when you're going out till late : -)

Hotel Hastal is perfectly located. Set on a quiet square but just a short walk to the Old Town Squares and other sites as well as to restaurants. The staff at the Hastal is very eager to assist in any way. From arranging tours or securing transportation to and from the airport. A friendly smile and a warm greeting met us whenever we were coming or going from the hotel. A lovely woman named Eva stood out. She was very friendly and pleasant. For these reasons and more we would definitely stay again at Hotel Hastal when we return to Prague.
