I never had to take public transport and the hostel was a great value. Breakfast which is included was decent and hearty, a good filling start to the day. Within 7 minutes walk of Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock, it served as a great base of operations for the duration of my stay in Prague. Always hot water and good temperature control in the rooms. My only suggestion would be wifi access outside of the first floor lobby. Otherwise, the staff was helpful and informative!

Room Tip: Staying on the first floor will get you access to the wifi.

I've stayed in the hostel for two nights with 25 euro. The conditions are very good, the room is clean and the toilets the same. I had a common shower and a restroom on the hall. The breakfast was very good and very rich for a hostel. Free Wi-Fi it's available in the restaurant and reception hall and it's free of charge. Metro Line B it's 5 min away from the hostel but also you can walk directly to Namesti Republiky, near the old city.

Great value for money!

Good location, close to metro and public transport. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable. Great value for money. I was in a room for 14 with 12 people and it was big enough. Breakfast: hot dogs, toast, coffee, juice, ...

The room i had was a decent size and the beds were fine.
Good bar and dining
The bathroom was terrible, so small and the window had been painted shut so you nearly suffocated.
I wasnt fussed on the location of the hostel either it was in a pretty seedy area that was too far away from everything.
If you dont mind roughing it for a nights sleep its fine.
A bonus is meeting lots of people from all over the world there :)

I stayed in room 406 and the carpet was sticky. Very gross. The entire place smelled of smoke even though its a smoke free place. Breakfast was free - a nice plus, but it was gross. I stayed there for 6 days and on the day before I left they gave me clean towels. Really? Why bother giving clean towels on the last day. It would have made more sense to just not give me clean anything. Staff was rude and cost was kind of high. I wouldnt stay here again.

It is near to the Old Town Square, which is about 8 minutes walks. The metro station is just in front of the hostel, easy to get metro to everywhere but it is better to visit by feet. The room is simple but there is no lock for the locker, so if you plan to store your belongings please prepare a lock by yourself. There is no towel provided for the bathroom. The light in the bathroom is using automatic system, but it is not sensitive enough. I bath halfway then the light switch off automatically. We need to go out and make some big movement then the light is on again! The breakfast is good!

Stayed there for one night. The staff is very helpful, they even lent me a towel (be careful, the towels are not provided there, so take your own one) and explained the way to the historical sites (the Old Town is 20 min walk, there are tram and bus stops in the neighbourhood). There are free maps available at the counter. Visa and Mastercard payments are available.
Internet is available only at the ground floor and at the cafe and you have to sit on the floor with your laptop. The WC ad the shower room are shared for the floor and you nave no place to attach your possessions during the shower except the windowsill. It was quite hot inside the room but it was the mid-July and the opening of the window helped to solve the problem.
The lockers had no lock, you have to bring your own.
The hostel is 3 min walk from the main Prague bus station and 15 min walk from the main railway station. There are food accommodations nearby, but the hotel cafe is quite good and the included breakfast is absolutely splendid.
