Extremely friendly staff that will help you with everything you need! The breakfast is okay, not the best I've seen but there was the basics such as bun, yogurt and sausage . The room was very clean and big. The hotel need to renovate a bit, such as changing carpet, new paint on the walls and maybe a Power outlet by the bed to charge your phone.

The walking distance to the centre and Charles bridge is okay. Only about 30 - 40 minute walk, or you can take the Metro which is just next to the hotel.

The hotel is near the exit of the metro and a bus station.
So it's convenient for visiting the city and easy to reach from the airport.
The rooms are spacious and good with internet and clima.
The corridors to get to the room are a little too long .
The staff is very friendly.
The breakfast is varied and good.
I welcome my stay at this hotel.

Back to Prague(21June 2013) just after the recent floods.Stayed at the Akcent hotel again, this time there was six of us.Once more we could not fault the hotel, big clean rooms, lovely bathroom, clean bedding.breakfast good with both hot and cold menu. The staff as usual were very attentive and friendly.A great place to stay,at a great price. Prague itself after the floods was back to normal, everything was open with very little sign of the damage caused by the high water. So after our third trip to prague what can be said about it,one word describes it best, BEAUTIFUL.

Room Tip: all hotel rooms are on the top floor(7th)of the complex.

Stayed for 2 nights at the Akcent hotel after shopping around quite a bit for a good hotel in a great location and a value for money price range. I was not disappointed.

The hotel was located directly by a Metro stop and is always easily accessible by tram. Steps from the Metro and a few more into the hotel can be an issue with big suitcases so be aware of that. We were checked in promptly and also upgraded to a larger room (I assume due to availability). All rooms are on floor 6 and the majority have balconies. Our room did not but we did not mind as the view was still excellent.

All amenities were as expected: clean and modern bathroom, comfy bed, sofa bed, table, chairs, TV, mini bar, plenty of storage, safe, a desk and aircon. The free wifi was also a bonus and worked great. There is a kettle but please note you have to purchase tea and coffee from reception for a small charge. Items in the mini fridge were also chargeable but very reasonable. However we stocked up on some drinks and snacks from the local supermarket instead as even cheaper ;)

The breakfast was served in the hotel restaurant which is clean and spacious. The breakfast itself was basic with a small selection of white and brown bread, cakes, bread rolls, cheese & cold meats, jam & honey, cereals, yogurts, fruit as well as warm selection of boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, frankfurters and runner beans (not sure if the beans thing is a czech thing).

The location of the Hotel is excellent with plenty of bars, restaurants, shops (including a large shopping centre including a large tesco, cinema, food court, and plenty of high street shops a few meters away) as well as the Staropramen Brewery across the road.

Prague's historic centre is easily reached either by public transport (5-10 mins) or via lovely walk along the river (approx 25 min).

My verdict: A fantastic hotel in a great location for a great price in a beautiful city. What more could you want. We will definitely return on our next visit!

Stayed there two nights. At the heart of Prague, close by shopping mall, Metro and clubs. First, I was too disappointed when I entered the lobby. Helpful staff showed me three rooms to pick which was nice. Room was good and had every thing but an iron. Every thing was clean, but the sheet had lots of dirt marks.
Huge problem with the room, was the blinds. In the morning, room was too light, so I couldn't sleep. (Refer to photo)
Breakfast was average, and no products in English language.I will not recommend this place to stay, unless if you had no choice.

Good Honest Hotel, nothing fancy, simply but pleasant, décor is new but of the late 90s, rooms are simple with ensuite which does not have a bath (shower, toilet, basin). Metro is outside the front door. Our room had a balcony which was pleasant to view the town from.

Breakfast was OK, but does have the usual code meats, cheese, bread etc, the cooked food is limited

10 mins walk to Tescos, 10 mins to river side and 45mins to Charles Bridge.

Good base to explore the town.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms facing the town, as balcony will have better view.

Just came home from a 3-night stay at Akcent Hotel. I chose this hotel due to its reviews here on tripadvisor and due to its good location (metro station in front of the hotel door). Staff was friendly and helpful, they even upgraded my room to a bigger one. WLAN had very strong signal in my room. One thing I didn't really like though is their breakfast, it's just a very small buffet-type, nothing really special.
