beautiful building. we were lucky enough to be in Prague on the last day of the Mucha-Lendl exposition. The building and the artwork where a nice compliment to each other.

I attended a wedding of a friend of mine in sep 2013. I was positively surprised by the beauty of the rooms and the sound of the pipe organ. Organization was perfect as well as the courtesy of the local staff.

This is a gorgeous example of Art Nouveau architecture and decor. Hire a tour guide to show you the concert hall and the anterooms that are off-limits to the general public. Each room is different and amazing in its own way. Our guide kept saying " this room is over-decorated". HA! She was right- they were all over the top fabulous. Of particular beauty is one room designed and painted by Alfons Mucha. The celing has a beautiful work titled "Slavic Concord " that you should see.
Of course, the American Bar, the restaurants, and the Wine Bar were fun too.

had a chance to see a concert here last week. the acoustics are nice. the ambience even nicer.

if you have a chance, check and see if there any concerts and go. i think the cost is less than 100 for each seat. i would go and enjoy. but check to see who is playing. i have gone now twice. once i didnt really enjoy it. the other time, it was much better. take a look.

if nothing else, go around the building and enjoy the architecture.

This is a stunningly beautiful building in "art nouveau" style. We took a guided tour which was easily the best way to appreciate all of the building. The tour takes you into all of the lavish ante rooms as well as the splendid concert hall. We attended a concert by the Prague Symphony Orchestra a couple of days later which was a first rate experience in such a wonderful location. We also ate before the concert in the cafe restaurant, which is also a beautiful room. The food and service were very good and at reasonable prices. A word of caution- we tried to reserve a table during our earlier visit and was told this was not necessary. In the event it was very busy and we were put up on the balcony area which was nowhere near as good for appreciating the special ambience. So my advice is to book.

This building is one of the Prague "must sees" and is probably one of the finest examples of "art nouveau" architecture in Europe.
