The hotel is situated in a quiet area. the eighteenth century. century brewery to operate. Directly in front of the subway station, which in a few minutes you can be in the old town. (6 station) * There's a division of 2 and 3 as well. He is generally recommended. Clean, simple rooms, good breakfast. The reception fast and helpful. Are 2-3-4-5 bedded rooms. Enclosed parking is paid, but guarded. Free WiFi access is available throughout the hotel. 2 restaurants, although we do still eat in the city.

food choice is average ( for Praha ) and old part of hotel ( breakfast room ) is not on level with exellent new rooms. Also there is a lot of noise (from guests), sound isolation is poor in rooms. Street is quiet and air is clean as are rooms. Rooms are big. There are so many hotels in Praha so it is hard to be better in same price. I would call this hotel "competitive"

We stayed in the 3-star part of the hotel. The 3 star part is noticeably newer than the 2 star part. The room had all the modern amenities. The only small quibble I have is that the bathtub is set quite high from the floor so that stepping down from the path can be uncomfortable, not to mention dangerous, as there is nothing to hold on to except the flat wall.
Internet connectivity was good in the room.
The staff were courteous and spoke good English.
As is usual when you are traveling in Europe, the rooms seemed a bit small to the American traveler.
The breakfast was good and included both hot and cold items. As usual, there was a variety of cheeses and cold cuts of meat. The hot items were different each day.
As far as the location is concerned--there is an indoor mall within walking distance as well as a Czech restaurant next door.
The subway station is also walking distance and there is a direct train to the Old City (Mustek station).
All in all, if it weren't for the high-set bath, I would have given it a 4 star.

Room Tip: I would ask for the 3-star room.

This hotel was fine- cheap and cheerful. The breakfast was good though and included in the price.

Internet connectivity was really poor you have to sit in the communal lounge area to connect. Staff were relativiely friendly and the room was clean- no complaints there.

To enter the hotel, you have to walk through the car park, which at night is very dark. If you're travelling alone, I wouldn't recommend this. I was with my partner and I felt scared.

You need to take the metro to get into town.

I just had a night stay in this hotel (2-star part) and I must say - it's waaaay overpriced. For such quality it should cost at least 30-40% less... I understand that Prague is an expensive city but this was way too much.

First thing first:
I cannot say anything wrong about service as both hotel employees I've had a chance talk to were fully trained and competent. No problem with English language whatsoever, same as helping me with all information I needed (local stores, pubs, etc.)

Problems started once I've reached my room... First thing that brought my attention was a terrible smell of chlorine in the room (coming from bathroom). I understand that maids had to clean it but a bit of advice to owner/manager of this place - if you know that your top floor rooms have poor ventilation and are incredibly stuffy, do not use such cleaning materials as that stench stays there forever! We spent 2 hours venting this room before we could go to toilet.

Another big issue was a state of shower equipment... shower handle was broken, so I had to hold shower in my hand all the time to wash myself. Same thing with water taps - any harder move and it was falling off. Rest of the room was ok. Clean an tidy.

Also, if you're a person who have a light sleep and can easily be woken up - definitely avoid 2-star part of that hotel. Doors in there are so thin that you can hear everything that's going on on the floor as it is happening next to you... From what I could read on the wall I understood that quiet hours starts at 22:00 (10PM), but it seems no one cares about it in there. We had bunch of Czech teenagers running and screaming around the whole place until 1 o'clock which was quite bad with those thin walls.

My final issue is not regarding hotel itself, but it's surroundings. There's a local pub in approx 15 meters from main entrance. Unfortunately it's one of those not-safe ones (lot of drunk, noisy and aggressive local members of the community), so if you planning any evening walks around the neighbourhood - please change your plans for your own safety.

If not the price, that place could be nice hotel for group of friends or solo travellers who are looking only for cheap piece of bed to spend a night and move on early at the morning. But for 100% it's NOT a place for Families with kids or couples.

Finally... MY REVIEW IS ABOUT 2-STAR PART OF THE HOTEL. 3-STAR WING MAY NOT HAVE SUCH ISSUES IN BATHROOMS...

Room Tip: Definitely avoid rooms on 3rd floor as those have only one small window... It causes that (even at n...

We were very impressed of the excellent conditions in the 3 Star Hotel, everything was brand new, the room was spacious, very nicely decorated and quality linnen&towels. The area is very quiet and there was no noise from the corridor. The price was surprisingly low for the quality, 1100 CZK (aprox. 50 EUR) and they also offer guarded parking. Friendly staff . Cozy restaurant nearby. Warmly recommend it!

There are 2 wings. The 3 star wing was excellent, new, bright, and very good price (1100 czk or around 40 euro). Compared to Geneva (where i live), the room could be considered as 4 stars. It is a huge room compared to Paris, Rome or anywhere in Switzerland. Staff was very helpful. Definitely will come back. Didnt try the breakfast. I arrived at 5 am on Sunday and left at the same time on Monday and charged only 1 night. No idea of the quality of rooms in the 2 star wing. Wifi was excellent in the room and anywhere outside it. Also, there was LAN connection to internet in room. Desk with light and a chair, where I could work as I was traveling for bussines. Only thing is that there was phone in room, but with skype and internet access this was not a prob. For the same price you get a tiny, old very very basic room in Prague 1.
