“Good value”
Reviewed August 30, 2010

Yes, the carpets are stained and it is 15 minutes by tram to the city centre, but this hotel was extremely cheap (we paid just over 100 EURO for four nights for twin beds), the staff at reception were friendly and helpful, the sheets were clean, the bed was comfy, the breakfast was generous, traditional and interesting. This is budget accommodation and we were very happy. I would recommend the hotel to those on a tight budget.

I was with my hubby and another couple. we booked this hotel through booking.com.
we arrived at around 12nn, we had to wait until 2pm so we can check in. but the lady at the reception was very nice and allowed us to park our car immediately. The location is superb. just a minute walk from the tram, stop at Ohrada, or u can take buss 133 or 509. we had a great 4 night stay and would sure come back there.
The breakfast is just a normal selection of cold meat, cheese, but i didnt like the yoghurt.
My bed is just so comfy and I still would choose it even we moved to another hotel still in Prague. our room is big. Housekeeping is good. Only problem is the carpets are dirty, I think it's because its white, there are a lot of stains around, but this doesn't bother us since we dont expect high standards. we just need a good sleep. one more kudos is that I forgot my mobile phone in our room and had to come back for it gladly the girl at the reception immediately knew about the incident and gladly gave my phone back..whew! So if you are not a clean freak and just want to have a good sleep and wanted a hotel very close to all transpo and an english speaking staff.. then this is the best hotel for u!

When we arrived at the hotel we checked in we had to wait for other guests had checked out so we went across the street and found a china restaurant where they served good food.Hotelet consists of seven floors. When we stayed at the top we had a great view of traffic and address translators shone det.Vi lived in the Quadruple and we had Russian television channels and a small refrigerator, hair dryer in the bathroom tub and everything we needed. 30 m to the center if you go. In the 15m walk you came to a mall called SM Palac Flora, where you'll find lots of clothing and fine shops. There is a shopping mall located in the city called the Palladium has over 200 stores and restaurants, which we used to be a lot. Shop New Yorker not so far away from Palladium. The road to the highway outside the city. Me and my fammilie had a nice winter holiday there. Recommended!

The diffence between what you can read on the net and the reality is used! It's far from the center. We were given a smoking room when I expressly required a non-smoking, sheets were dirty and breakfast lousy, carpet not clean! I dont' recommend this hotel or at least, they should write a real comment about the facilities. It's a false advert!!!

We stayed in this hotel for a week. The hotel was nice, room was not big but clean. Good buffet breakfast with fruits. Is out of the center but close to transport.

Stayed for 3 nights. Comfortable beds, close to tramstop, nice staff. Breakfast is ok. Nice staff. Room was a bit messy, but not too bad.

Perfect for a cheap citybreak!

We read several of the reviews for this hotel prior to booking it. Although we were a little hesitant we needed some place cheap to stay. I did not have high expectations and therefore was not disappointed. The hotel is not the worst I have stayed in, but it is not the best either. The rooms were clean, the service was great and they were very helpful with directions. My husband made a point to tell them about the bad reviews and that we came anyway. I don't know if that helped us or hurt us, but again we had no problems. We did not see any "ladies of the night", but we were never out past 10 pm. Breakfast was typical European fare. Bread, cakes, cereal, cheeses, boiled eggs, meats, but they also had pizza and some other items as well. Someone recommended a great little pizzaria just around the corner and it was a great little place. The tram stops right by the hotel and is easy to use. The metro station is a good mile away. If you are looking for a place to stay on a budget...this is the place. I wouldn't pay more than 50 Euro a night.
