“Amazing views”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 26, 2014

We went here on a recommendation of a friend who has been to Prague several times before. The strange looking babies crawling up the outside of the tower were a little odd but add some thing to the some what dull exterior of the tower (what else could you do to a long grey tower?).

At about £5 to get in its a cheap visit. You go straight up in the elevator, very quickly so watch out as your ears do pop, to the top floor. The views are amazing, you can see all the way around and trying to find all the places you have been to is fun. There are sofas and some chairs along with a computer screen pointing out popular landmarks such as the Charles Bridge.

Worth a visit for the amazing views just make sure you go on a bright day.

“Somthing different but totally worth it!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 19, 2014 via mobile

This was my second visit to the tower. First being around 8 years ago before the removal of the old analogue equipment and refirbishment.

Must say, the makeover is fantastic!

Well presented reception. Good smart looking staff and cheap entry.

Its situated in a rather run down district of the city, however, getting there on public transport poses no great problems. Tram No's 5/26/9 will get you near then its a 10 min max walk.

Entry cost as at Feb2014 was less than £4.50 (adult). You take the lift to the observation deck and resturant/1 room hotel.

The observation deck houses art exhibitions as well as 3 cubes for viewing the city. One contains perspex 'bubble' chairs. If its windy you can feel the place 'move!'

The resturant deck contains a bar, resturant and a 1 room gotel. The interior is superb. To stay, its best to book and its possible to get it as low as around £250 for the night. Although on Valentines the cost was £1,600. Id say the lower end cost would be worth it for the novelty value.

Resturant prices were pretty reasonable as well. No more than a high end city resturant.

The tower is set in a small square park with a cafe bar, childrens play area, parking and next to an old graveyard.

A great place to see the city skyline. Definately recommended. Its also possible to work a walking route out to the Czech National Monument, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and walk to it. We walked it in around 15mins.

Quirky, different, ugly, but great fun. TV tower, that is!

“Amazing views over Prague”

This is well worth a visit. I liked the structure and the crawling babies up the side! The views over the city are incredible and it is still a 'hidden gem' and therefore quiet.

“Great view, low costs.”

Been there on a sunny Day with no clouds. The entrance to the restaurant in 66 meters was free! The prices inside the restaurant were very cheap. Beer 30 krons coffee about 40. Awesome view.

“For a good view...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 3, 2014

The TV tower is a bit strange neighborhood, but as getting a good view is always nice, i decided to go there anyway. The view was quite good, and because it was very slow, not many other visitors, i could really hang out up there a while. Nice chairs, nice 'mood'.
