Friendly staff and basic room which is exactly what you would expect for the price. It is an easy 17 minute walk from the Central train station and easy to walk back towards the Old Town to explore. There is a good place for breakfast 5 minutes away and you can catch tram 22 for the castle near by. The desk is operational from 10 to 2 but they will wait for you to arrive if later that this...as we were.

The Reception staff were absolutely wonderful to converse with in English - about the stay and with help in finding things in the neighborhood. The Chamber Maids were attentive to keeping it clean.

It does have a Hostel section, but those guests were quiet and respectful.
I stayed here for my entire 3 months in Schengen. I had a kitchen area with a fridge and HOB. Shower had great water pressure and temperature. No TV after the first month. I do like to have TV to understand the culture of the city I am visiting.
If you need - depend - on Internet, make sure you have data on your phone, that you can share with all of your devices.
The location is excellent. The 22 Tram goes almost everywhere by itself. The I.P. Pavlova Red Line is a few minutes walk, and the Green Line at Namesti Miru is a few more minutes past I.P. Pavlova. Both stations have great connections to everywhere. You can walk 5 minutes to Wenceslaus Plaza.

This hostel is one of the worst I have ever stayed in. We arrived to no staff, no emails, nothing. Just a sign on the door with a number we had to ring despite not wanting to pay for overseas charges. They then gave us instructions to get the key from a safe box. We went to our room which is overcrowded with bunk beds. The bathroom smells vulgar. And the "kitchen" which consists of a single microwave and fridge. I never saw any staff during my stay apart from a cleaner, who refolded the used, dirty bed sheets after a guest leaving. The hostel is a very unsocial set up with no common area and the kitchen is confided to your room only.
Overall, the location is okay with metro stop nearby. However, I really think budget accommodation will also be available, with better facilities, nearer the centre.
The bathroom was not clean which negatively affected my experience. The ground floor rooms we were in also smelled like cat urine.
However it is in a good, central location and the beds are fairly comfortable. The staff are friendly but the office hours are quite short.
Very close to hystorical centre and to a lot of shops and restaurants. Short and nice walk to the astronomical clock and a little bit more to Charle's Bridge. Very close to the National Museum. Old building with no elevator... large and clean rooms. No complaint at all. I have loved this place.
This hotel is just horible ! No electricity during 3 days, no keys to enter in the hotel during 2 days, the staff was unwelcoming! The maid doesn't change sheets during 3 days! Avoid this hotel!!!! I'm french and I think that the city is verry beautiful
