“Good location; awful & lazy customer service”

It was average. Not too dirty, not too clean, able to smoke in the rooms with provided ashtrays, includes the basics (toilet, bed, tv, bathroom, bed), but staff were unpleasant and unwilling to help with a simple favour - which was to translate only a few sentences in Czech. Overall, the hotel is pretty decent with a train station closeby - only a few stops away from the Old Town Square.

Close to the metro. Rooms big enough with nice views of Prague. Breakfast was good, however don't go too early as its pretty busy at about 8am ish. Would stay again as the staff were lovely, the location is good and rooms good value

Two nights at this hotel, very close to metro making it easy to get around and much cheaper then 20€ by cab to city square. Hotel staff were accommodating, rooms were clean but did smell heavily of smoke. Lacking basics in rooms such as hair dryer, iron, fridge, air con or fans. Would stay again on value for money.

My husband and I stayed at at this hotel only 2 night's at this hotel with a group of otgrr friends. When we arrived the staff there were so inviting bad absolutely rude with no customer service skills. One of our friends asked for some advice and directions in the area, after she had explained what she was after the the most rudest staff member there I believe her name was suzanna replied with...I don't know what you want. And after asking a second time she then said that she can't help her.
That evening we were al sitting on the couch seats and confront of us there were 2 small tables with a movable glass top which was covered with cracks and chipped corners. My husband had crossed his leg when we tapped one corner of that glass with his shoe when the small piece of the glass cracked more and fell off. We took the piece over to the staff so no one hurts them selves and the rude staff member there hadn't even seen the table to see the damage immediately said that we had to pay $30euros. She insisted that we had to pay right there on the spot without even inspecting the damage. She didn't ask any questions even though we explained it was already a cracked table and it was an accident and there was no force on the glass. She didn't not care only wanted the mo eyes. Discusting service.

No frills, very basic. Close to Metro was the only redeeming feature. Rooms and hallways smell of cigarette smoke. The breakfast provided by the hotel was poor quality and we ended up going out to eat. The room was not supplied with basics such Kleenex, hair dryer and shampoo. Only hand soap was provided. The beds were very hard.

I arrived in Prague this evening and was so astounded by the incompetence and abruptness of the terrible staff that I had to write this post straight away!
This evening, after we'd bought a substantial amount from the bar, there was a small discrepancy with the bill. Instead of just waving it by and going by the principle of "the customer's always right", the barmaid and the receptionist chose to make a big fuss about the matter, not allowing us to go to bed until the full bill (most of which we had already paid) was settled. More than 15 minutes was taken to confirm whether or not the bill had already been paid and even still there was no substantial evidence, for or against, that demonstrated the cash flow of the bar.
The barmaid was not only incompetent but also plainly daft and the receptionist, when confronted with the discrepancy claimed "it's not my problem" and proceeded to swear at me when I tried to discuss the matter further. Almost half an hour later, the matter was resolved by our side when we decided just to give in and pay again for the drinks we'd ordered.
It was a really sour end to a good night.
If you're looking for a nice hotel near the city with friendly, competent staff - don't come here!!!

The hotel's service was really bad I will not be back to him. The ratio of workers was dismissive. The phone did not work, did not replace the towels 5 days, the hotel itself inside outdated. I did not like just the attitude of the employees. Case also was shouting at me because I asked my little girl water.
