The Emblem Hotel has recently opened in 2013. It is extremely well appointed and in an amazing position...right in the middle of everything, yet on a quiet street so you are not disturbed at night. The rooms are beautifully furnished (we had a king-dom)with beds comfortable and although they are on the small size, they are well formed so it is easy to find space for all your luggage. We would not hesitate to stay there again!
Down the street (towards the river) is a terrific café with excellent coffee and fresh salads, great for breakfast or lunch!

Dear Lani S,

We are so glad you had such a terrific time with us at The Emblem! Thank you for writing such an amazing review, and it is great hear all of your compliments. We are lucky that our location is ideal--so close to everything happening in the city centre yet perfectly tucked away so that our guests have nice and quiet evenings. We hope you got the chance to check out all the other events and spaces that we have in the hotel. If not, you can keep updated on our Facebook page or our website. We look forward to seeing you again next time you come to Prague!

We stayed 2 nights at The Emblem and enjoyed the location and helpfulness of the staff. The room was a bit small and the internet signal needs to be boosted but overall the property was clean and the breakfast was really good.

Dear allr1,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us! We are glad that you enjoyed your time here, especially our wonderful location and helpful staff. Our rooms are a bit smaller, but we hope you got the chance to check out some of our other Living Spaces throughout the hotel. If not, the next time you visit us, make sure you check out The M Spa because our guests get complimentary access to the Kneipp path, sauna, steam room, fitness centre, and relaxation room. There is a beautiful rooftop terrace with an unbeatable view of the city! Also, downstairs, we have multiple spaces in The Maharal Club where guests can go and relax, play games, watch TV, or even set up a "home office." Thanks again for sharing with us, and we hope to welcome you back to The Emblem soon!

Kind Regards,
Hannah

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Emblem. Very clean. Great location. The staff were very friendly. Good breakfast. Recommend Emblem's private airport transfer and La Bottega di Finestra/La Finestra in Cucina 1 block way.

Dear Kate P,

We are so happy to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed your stay with us here! We were thrilled to have you as well, and thank you for taking the time to share your amazing experience with us. We really appreciate you pointing out the highlights of our location, cleanliness, breakfast, and friendly staff because we think that all of these things are important for every guest in every hotel. Also, we couldn't agree more with your recommendations. Our private transfer is the most reliable way to get to and from the airport, and La Bottega di Finestra just happens to be one of our favourite places to eat! (We recommend that guests get some food to go, take our provided picnic basket, and have a beautiful day in the park.) We hope that we will see you again the next time you're in Prague!

Kind Regards,
Hannah

We had a lovely long weekend in Prague and we could not have chosen a better hotel for service, style and location. The Emblem hotel is in the middle of old Prague close to the river and main square and just a short walk from the Jewish quarter. The hotel houses the best Steak House in Prague and this is a welcome change from the mainly Italian cousine dominated restaurants in Prague.

Dear Evert S,

Thank you so much for taking the time to tell us about your experience here at The Emblem! We are so glad that you chose to stay with us during your lovely long weekend in Prague. Thank you for your kind words about our service, style, and location, and it is great to hear that you tried out our restaurant, George Prime Steak. We also think it is the best steakhouse in Prague, and it is currently the only restaurant that serves USDA Prime Beef! We hope you got the chance to see The M Spa with its incredible castle view and rooftop Jacuzzi or perhaps even tried one of their relaxing treatments. If not, then next time! We look forward to welcoming you back to our beautiful city in the near future.

Kind Regards,
Hannah

Small boutique hotel in a fabulous spot, moments from Old Town Square and Charles Bridge. Very young, friendly staff, some of which are a little inexperienced, but try very hard. We were shown to 'the best room in the hotel' which was quirky and stylish but very dark with very little natural light and poor electrical lighting (had to use my iphone torch app to put on my makeup!). The following day we were able to move to a different room which was lovely, light and airy and far more to our liking. Air con didn't seem to cool down either room at all. This was mentioned at reception but not sorted. Overall, would we stay there again - Yes, would we recommend to friends - Yes. Also, I had a wonderful facial in the Spa.

Room Tip: If you like dark and moody go for the Library Suite.

Dear Aidualc37,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us! We are so glad that you chose to try one of our amazing suites. Your original room, Suite Library, is definitely unique. It is one of our favourite rooms because of its "quirks," but it is also one of the darker rooms that we have in the hotel. We are sorry if it caused you any inconvenience, but we are very glad that we were able to accommodate you in our Suite Terrace. We love this room because it is the lightest and airiest room in the hotel! We are also working on fixing the air conditioning, so thank you for bringing this to our attention again. We are so happy that you got to have a fantastic facial in The M Spa, and thank you as well for all of your other compliments. We hope to see you (or your friends) at The Emblem in the near future!

Kind Regards,
Hannah

this was a perfect spot on a quite street between the river and the town square. easy 3 minute walk to both. each day there we got an email with suggestions on good things to do (in english) that were great ideas (one day we went on pedal boat on river near sunset, but followed there suggestion to pedal "just around the corner of the island" to grab a beer that they brought us in our "boat" and we pedaled off to enjoy the sights from the river, get a little exercise (not much really) and enjoy the city from this wonderful perspective. the second suggestion, Cesky Krunlov, we had already done on our way back from Austria. it was a good suggestion though and it came with easy instructions on how to get bus/train if you didn't have a car. we loved Prague and this was a great spot....of course, the European rooms are small by US standards, but we don't spend much time in our room when we travel!

Dear eandmgo,

We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay with us, and thank you for taking the time to share your experience! We try to do things a little differently here, and sending out our daily e-mail is one of those things. We call it "Like a Local" because we want guests to experience Prague in the best (and sometimes most unique) ways, so it is great to get such positive feedback from you. We are so glad that you decided to try out one of our suggestions! Paddle boating on the Vltava really is one of the greatest ways to see the city, so we are happy you did it. Thank you also for your other compliments, and we really hope that you return to Prague and stay with us again in the future!

Kind Regards,
Hannah

Upon arrival, we were immediately assisted with our heavy packs, seated in their cozy lounge, and offered water which was much needed after a long day of travel. Erika came to check us in and she was FABULOUS! It was so refreshing to have such a personal check in. Instead of being rushed through the process, we got to sit and chat and hear her great tips and tricks of the city! She provided us with maps of the city, advice on currency exchange, and what to/not to use for public transportation. I really can't say enough about how much we appreciated Erika's insight, honesty, and conversation. The room was modern with complimentary wine, tea/coffee, bath salts (HUGE tub in room), body wash, shampoo, lotion, and a beauty kit. We unfortunately did not have time to check out the spa, but we did enjoy our complimentary wine (plus quite a few more glasses) in the Maharal Club. Michael was amazing! He was highly knowledgable about the wines and was great to chat with as well! I can't say enough about how great he was! Breakfast buffet was delicious and unlimited free wifi everywhere. This is a family run hotel and you can tell with personal service you won't find anywhere else. My only regret is we only stayed one day. Will definitely be back.
