This was just such a cute, simple, un-intimidating cafe. It's a bit off the beaten path, though quite centrally located, and rather small (three small rooms, adjoined). I went at a seemingly odd time, probably about 15:30-16:00, and there was one other customer who seemed to be a regular, plus a mother and daughter there to complete the daughter's homework and enjoy a treat after school. (It seemed like a ritual for them, and was the perfect place for it). A nice woman took my order at the counter, and brought it to my small table just steps away, but in another room. I had a cappuccino and slice of chocolate cheesecake - both were outstanding. I felt no rush to leave or make room for other customers, and the place feels like a converted home, complete with mismatched, unassuming furniture, bookshelves, quilts, quirky art, and "house" plants. There's also a bathroom. Very cozy, quiet, great coffee, and delicious sweets to go along with it. Also, free water with a carafe for refills!
