“Great food, cheap prices!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2013

Great place to sit outside, bask in the sun, have a beer and something to eat. The pork snitzel was crunchy on the outside, tender in the inside, and the portions huge. 2 large beers, pork snitzlel plus potato salad and a coffee 10 eur.

“Tasty Pilsner beer, tasty food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 9, 2013

Restaurant has new interior and focus on beer from Pilsner brewery and Czech food.
I ordered beef jowls and Pilsner beer.
Pilsner has right temperature and expected taste.
Meal was taste, meat was tender and well done, with vegetables and smashed potatoes.
Most of visitors were Czech but two couples were English speaking. Waitress came with English menu and took order in English as well. Meal with beer costs me 16EUR (April 2013)
If you prefer wine over beer they have good selection from local wine producers. In general they are dry and natural. Don´t expect broad floral smell or richness of taste which you can find in wine from Italy of France. Czech winemakers are located at northernmost of wine producing regions.

Czech are known as beer drinkers and prefer quality beers in restaurants serving well known brands. They developed innovative system and store beer in tank (bag-in-box system).
Go there and taste it, it´s better than 100 words.

From SABMiller web page:
The beer is stored in tanks under the best conditions, with a constant temperature set between 7-10 degrees Celsius. The beer is stored in bag-in-box system (a watertight polypropylene bag), and during storage and service it doesn't come in contact with air or the wall of the tank. Beer doesn't oxidize, and is keeping natural amount of CO2, which is produced during the fermentation of the beer and adds the right amount of vigor. Tanks are installed in pub what guarantees that the beer in the tank is as fresh as it can be.
