Owner description: Let’s plan together a program or a journey through history according to your choice. Prague is so fabulous that it can be explored in all seasons. These tours are designed for very small groups, individuals, couples or families with a deep interest in cultural life, history and architecture. Suggested walks (1) The Old Town with picturesque streets, ‘Ungelt’, the original 9th Century market traders’ gathering place, the Old Town Square with the unique Old Town Hall and the famous Astrological Clock, the Church of Our Lady of Tyn, Karlova Street and Krizovnicke Square with their examples of different architectural styles. (2) Hidden secrets of the Jewish Town. We visit Maisel Synagogue, Pincas Synagogue, Old-New Synagogue – one of the oldest in Europe, Spanish Synagogue and the Jewish Cemetery with its ceremonial hall. (3) The Little Quarter. We may start with the visit of the church of Our Lady Victorious with the charming statue of Child Jesus, continue to the Vrtba garden with baroque statues. On the Lesser Town Square we visit the church of St. Nicholas. Then we continue via Wallenstein Street to Klarov and along U Luzickeho Seminare to the little island of Kampa – a beautiful place on the Vltava River. Afterwards we could discover the historic Maltese Square and Charles Bridge. (4) Prague Castle. Here we walk through four courtyards and have the opportunity to see the St. Vitus’ Cathedral, the Royal Gardens, interiors of the Royal Palace, the St. George Basilica with the oldest monastery in Bohemia and the famous Golden Lane. (5) Monasteries. With this walk we’ll find ourselves on one of the city hills with spectacular views of the city, the Castle and the river. The Strahov Monastery was founded in 1143 AD and belongs to the Order of Premonstratensians. In a leafy suburb we’ll find the Brevnov Monastery of the Benedictine Order. As the second oldest monastery in Bohemia it was founded in 993 AD. Art Nouveau and Cubist Architecture Municipal Building, Hotel Evropa, House U černé Matky Boží (Black Mother of the Lord)..... A recommendation for a whole day walk: The Royal Walk beginning at the Powder Tower and continuing through Celetna Street, the Old Town Square, Karlova Street, Charles’ Bridge, the Lesser Quarter Square (with a refreshment break), afterwards up Nerudova Street to the Prague Castle. A recommended half-day trip to the Chateau Dobris. 40 kilometres SW of Prague in an enchanted countryside of green hills and deep woods is situated this 17th Century mansion in its own grounds of formal gardens and parkland. A charming one-day trip to Pilsner Brewery . By touring brewery you will learn about the brewing process . You will enjoy this unforgettable taste of Pilsner Urquel.

15 students from my University traveled to Prague and toured a large amount of the city with Eva. She was very informative and helpful, always arrived on time, and was a joy to be around. When I visit Prague again, I hope I'm able to see Eva.

We arranged a tour with Eva for just us two in May 2014. We had four hours with her and it was brilliant. Eva has an easy manner, good sense of humour and held our interest for the whole time. We would not have enjoyed nor appreciated Praha as much without her input. Thoroughly recommend you contact Eva if you're going to Praha. Helen and Alison

I really enjoyed the quick tour of Prague. The guide was very enthusiastic, her talk interesting. She didn't just talk but also listened to the participants, tried to make connections and made suggestions.

From start to finish, Eva's tour of the Prague Castle and surroundings was just about perfect. She helped us understand not only the place and its history, but also how it fits into today's Czech Republic. She even recommended books that would expand our understanding! The best tour of our three weeks in Europe.
