Description: The basis of our offer is made of popular traditional British fish and chips, supplemented by other bistro food such as soups, grilled chicken and fish, burgers, salads, deep fried sea food or vegetables, etc. The fish, vegetables and other ingredients we use are strictly fresh. Everything is home-made - from the batter, through potato chips and sauces, to delicious desserts. As well as in the ingredients we take pride in authentic recepies and processes, in the way the we serve food and also in the atmosphere of the venue, resembling the best of Great Britain. You can take the food with you or dine in - our dining room offers about 40 seats. In the summer you can also enjoy sitting on our terrace.

“Just great! Try it!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2013

Spotted by chance walking in Prague. Food is brilliant and the service is great. Different choiches of fish for the fish and chips from the classical cod to the salmon. We had the cod and the sea bass, both really good. At the same level as "real" the fish and chips in the UK. Apple pie is great too. Nice atmosphere.

“Fish and Chips in Prague? YES and it's Great!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 20, 2013

After a week in Prague I was getting tired of pork shoulder and dumplings (don't get me wrong, I love them). So I had hoped to get anything NON-Czech for lunch on this day. I stumbled across Fish & Chips on Dlouha and figured it was worth a shot.
The place is busy - popular. But on walking in you might think you are in the UK rather than the Czech Republic. The take out area looks like any fish and chip shop in any British city. I headed to the back room and found a table. I was lucky to find as a spot as this place is packed. The back seating area is cool, it has white subway tiles and then a great chandelier to jazz up the place. Very stylish.
The service was quick and friendly. I found the whole atmosphere to be lively.
My fish and chips came in a bowl (I had cod). It was delicious. It was like the best fish and chip shop you would find in London. It came with crisp fries and a side of mushy peas. The best part is that you ARE in the Czech Republic so you can wash down your fish with a Czech beer.
The meal was perfect and just what I wanted. The service is friendly and fun and the place looks great. What more can anyone want?

“Great new restaurant if you've got a hankering for British cuisine”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2013

We were delighted to hear about a proper fish & chip restaurant opening in Prague: one of us is British, so was brought up on the stuff and the other is fanatical about fish & chips anyway!

We weren't disappointed. It's certainly not cheap by comparison to some of the other 'fast food' options in Prague, but really good quality ingredients, good portion sizes and friendly service. The chips were the best we've had in Prague and the flavour of the mushy peas was excellent.

We'll be back!
