“Delicious and worth to visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 29, 2013

Nice romantic place for relax and fine dining. The menu (fairly often changed) is limited, but everybody can choose up to personal preferences - fishes, more kind of tasty meat, pasta, and also Hungarian specialities prepared by Hungarian chef Krisztián Pásztor. He is like magician by preparing the sweet deserts. Highly recommended! Speciality - 18 layered "Prague paving block" in original design!
Live music on harpsichord or piano (sometimes you can participate on the bar piano players contest held here).
Really worth to see is the Cigar lounge made from the old giant vault of former Mortgage Bank, though you don´t smoke. Very watchful and friendly staff.

“'Fine dining'”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 3, 2013

Good value for money 'fine dining' albeit with a limited menu. Situated in the beautiful Boscolo hotel where the staff are attentive and friendly. Don't be intimidated by the very grand lobby, but do take the opportunity to see the old bank vaults in the Cigar Room opposite the 'Cafe'.

“A place to see”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2013

The New York Cafe in the Prague Boscolo Hotel (managed by Marriott) is one of the places to see whenever you visit Prague (which is a city to see). Originally built in the late 19th century it is handsomely ornate — hand painted, dancingly decorative, with exquisite crystal chandeliers and rich wood paneling. The food is good but that is purely secondary to this historic palatial setting which was home to local artists, writers and poets in the late 19th-early 20th century.

“Very good food and very friendly staff!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2013 via mobile

During our stay at Boscolo Prague, we LIVED at this restaurant New York Cafe located in the lobby. I highly suggest you pay a little extra for the option to have breakfast at your stay there. Totally worth it. For lunch, they have a special from 12-3 PM where you can order 2 courses for 160 CZK (ONLY $8.00!!!). I had the Marinated Salmon with salad as a starter and the Milaneske Risotto which was OUTSTANDING! For dinner, I had the New York Tagliatelle and topped it off with some dessert by ordering the "New York" (2 scoops of tiramisu ice cream, 1 scoop of stracciatella ice cream, coffee liqueur, cocoa powder, sponge cake and whipped cream). DELICIOUS! Love this place! Even if you are not staying at the Boscolo Prague Hotel, I recommend you come here just for this restaurant for lunch and dinner! Not expensive at all either!
