Had a fantastic stay over valentines. The staff were friendly and helpful and on arrival we were greeted with a glass of champagne. The room was very clean and modern and a great choice for breakfast. The hotel is easy connected to the centre by public transport. All staff were extremely polite and helped us with directions. We also managed to get a late check out of our room at 6.30 in the evening with no extra cost to us. Very impressed with this hotel would def go back again if visiting Pague, highly reccommend Barcelo Praha Five

Good value. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Well connected to the centre by public transportation.
We asked for some add-on items as we went to Prague to spend Valentine's. My boyfriend ordered roses for me from the reception and they were almost withered and the thorns hadn't been removed (so I hurt myself). We mentioned this to the staff but they didn't offer a discount or apologize. We rented also ropes and they were rough and worn out.
The hotel itself is very good, but I was not impress with the surrounding area.

Room Tip: The room given to us looked the same than in the hotel pictures. It was in the 6th floor.

Booked through Secret Escapes and at £39 b & B per night a bargin. Hotel modern, clean and staff very friendly rooms well kept and a great choice for breakfast. Dont be put off by the location of the hotel 400M and your into the area of Andel where you have a great choice of bars and restaurants at a far better price than in the main city area. 1 Ltr of beer 23K under a pound. Another tip dont pay taxi prices from the airport we were there fop three nights and got a 72 hour tourist metro pass that also included trams and buses and were at our hotel in 40mins well worth it at 310K each.

Just returned from three nights in Prague at this hotel and can't recommend it enough. Easily accessible by taxi, bus/metro (we got taxi there, but when a little more familiar with public transport, got the metro and bus back to the airport which was farrrrr cheaper and very easy - approx 80 crowns which isn't quite £3.

Welcomed by Hotel Staff with a lovely glass of bubbly. They were more than helpful, giving us insight into where to go, what to do etc.

The hotel is near Andel which has a huge shopping centre which has everything you could want - the upstairs eating court has every type of cuisine if you didn't want to venture the Czech dishes. There is a lovely restaurant not far from hotel which serves tapas and very reasonable wine/beer. We had a huge meal on first night, as we arrived a little too late to head into town, for approx £20. Awesome!

The hotel bar is lovely, again very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are spotless, spacious and delightfully comfortable. We couldn't find any fault and have stayed in numerous European cities. This hotel has only been open for four months and they are obviously keen to please. Nothing was too much trouble.

The Andel station is literally a few mins from hotel, then about 3 stops to mustak which is the place to get off to access Wenceslas square. Again, everything is here but venture a little further towards the river to find cute little bars and restaurants at a fraction of the price of central places, as with any city.

Highly recommend Lokal for quality, reasonable traditional food and fun atmosphere, and also the ribs in any pondasura husa (a chain, but great).

Loved it. Book here if you want a comfortable and quality city break.

Room Tip: All seemed fabulous! We were at the back of the hotel with not much of a view - but this didnt both...

Staff were very friendly throughout our stay and the hotel was spotlessly clean. Great view from our super room looking over the business end of the city. Tram and bus nearby and a lovely restaurant/bistro about 500 meters away. Breakfast was buffet style with a lovely range to choose from.

Location is our only criticism. Ok for a business trip and too far from the old town for a holiday. Nonetheless we bought a pass for unlimited use of public transport which was great value (even included the funicular railway which is worth the trip anyway)
