A picturesque sight in Jusefov. Built in the 16th century in Rococo style. Is now the seat of the Jewish comunity in Prague. At the tower 2 clocks: one in Roman figures and one in Hebrew.

We went to the jewish town and saw this clock but we didn't know it goes counterclockwise til now. We think only "oh, a clock". They should warn tourist about it

Not open for tourist but stay to admire the Hebrew Clock that runs counterclockwise. Another kind of Jewish Ghetto that you'll find in any other cities of Europe.

Impressed by the architecutre and maintenance thereof during the centuries and history. Maybe what we did not like is that buildings have been re-organised into restaurants or stores with not much indication of the past.

Jewish Town Hall is a Renaissance style building, and it’s built at the end of the 16-th century, with a baroque façade from the 18-th century.

This building is situated in the Jewish Quarter (Josefov), very close to the Old New Synagogue.

It’s very easy to recognize it, because its tower has two clocks : the upper one has Roman numbers, the other has Hebrew numbers, and turns counterclockwise, because the Hebrews read signs from right to left.

For arriving here, the nearest metro station is Staromestska.

The building isn’t open for the tourists, but it deserve to spend few minutes to admire it.
