We were a little hesitant booking sight uneen. Our three night trip was essentially "made" successful by the great location and service at this wonderful Bed and Breakfast. From check-in to check-out, there were no complaints. The food was excellent and the owners treat everyone like family. The location is convenient to all the key sights, yet far enough from the hustle and bustle to enjoy a good nights rest. Will definitely go back to this B&B on our next trip to Prague.

During our recent stay at Dum u velke boty, my two girlfriends and I were pleasantly surprised, not only by the lovely historic hotel and well appointed rooms, but by the incredible hospitality of the Rippl family. This property is a rare gem, tucked away from the hustle and bustle and yet within walking distance of all of the main attractions. I very highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Prague.

This welcoming, comfortable small hotel is tucked in a quiet corner of Prague. Across the street from the German embassy in the Little Quarter and just up the street from the American embassy - so it's a very secure area - the hotel is a quick walk to the Charles Bridge and the busy heart of the Old City. But leave all that craziness behind to return to a peaceful neighborhood and a good sleep. This is a great place to stay.

The owners live in the building and are very friendly and attentive. Every morning, Jan cooks eggs to order at breakfast if you like. Good coffee, a filling breakfast spread. And helpful with anything I asked - Jakub found me a train ticket to my next destination at about half what I had expected to pay. These are just really nice people who do a great job of running a hotel.

My room was clean and comfortable, including a modern bathroom. There was plenty of space and good storage. It was easy to walk anywhere I wanted to go, and tram lines were nearby and easy to use as well.

Highly recommended.

The House at the Big Boot is a great B&B. The hosts were attentive, helpful and friendly. It is located in a quiet area but still within easy walking distance from all the popular tourist attractions. I would recommend this B&B to anyone coming to Prague

Great B&B in a quiet area of Prague. The Rippls are excellent hosts and will ensure you have a good stay. Room was clean and well furnished. Breakfasts are v good. Located just 10 minutes walk from centre of Prague. Good value. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.
