A friend recommended me this hotel, and for the price, I booked it without even reading any reviews.
First thing that impressed me was the location. It's *really* close to the Prague Castle, and within walking distance from other major touristic spots, such as the Charles Bridge and the Old Town Square. And even thought there are a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby, it's still a very calm place (not like on the other side of the river).
About the room, it was quite big, clean and silent (I stayed on the first floor, with a view of the street and it wasn't noisy at all). And the staff is very friendly and helpful. I didn't have that impersonal feeling that one usually has when staying in the big chains.
For the price they ask, it's a really good deal. I'll surely stay there again when visiting Prague.
