Amazing location, good value for money and the facilities were as they needed to be.

The only downsides I thought were the large staircase to get in the hostel, that the breakfast was not up to much considering the additional cost and i really had to close the room door hard in order to make sure it locked.

Beyond that considering how inexpensive this place was i cant fault it at all.

Alright, here's my beef. They nickel and dime you for everything (like tea bags and 10CZK for 7 min of computer time), their washing and drying machines are impossible to understand and they don't know how to use them either, the towels are more like shammies, their WiFi is absolutely horrible (which makes planning difficult) hostel staff helpfulness varies widely by person, and they all act a little irritated when you talk to them. On the other hand, awesome location. The only reason I didn't give them one star is that the only useful staff member went out of his way to help me. Use Ritchie's if you want a good location, that is just about it.

The ground was made with wood chipboard and we haven't even where unpack!

There was a big hole on the roof, unbelievable !

The bathroom and restroom were in the same place, so cold and not practical at all.

Room Tip: D9 is a horrible room !

This hotel is in the center of Praha 1.

The emplacement is perfect near everything bars/clubs/shops/museum.
However, we were at horrible room, with big hole on the rouf.

The ground was made with wood chipboard and we haven't even where unpack!

The bathroom and restroom were in the same place, so cold and not praticical at all.

Conclusion, I don't know about other rooms, but never accept to go to room D9. For, 106 euro/4 nights, is not worth it at all.

We're totally four guys.
We were walking in the streets around 01am (midnight) looking for good hostels.
We fortunately arrived at this hostel.
As it's 24hrsreception, we could enter and could get room.
The price per person was 9euros.
We were given 8bedded dorm however no one else other than v four..
Pros :
••location ••>3minute walk to astronomic clock and >> 5minutes walk to karlovky lazne five floor dance club..!!

1. 24hrs reception
2. Friendly staff (who gave the perfect choice of club names what we looked for)
3. Hot water
4. Daily toilet cleaning
5. Private toilet
6. Pub crawl booking
7.clean towel +linen
8.decent exchange rate provided.

Cons :
1.internet (Wi-Fi only at reception area and not in Room )
2.breakfast extra (4euros)
3.toilet was key lock system, the key was old hence we had problems to smoothly open the toilet door.

General :d3 was stinky outside as it's close to staff Room .

I really enjoyed my stay at Ritchie's hostel. Thanks to it's location (in the center, near the Carl's bridge) we didn't have to use the public transport at all. We did all our sightseeing by foot although we stayed for only 2 days in Prague. We stayed in a 10 bed mixed room which was very big and had a private bathroom. The employees were very nice, they were glad to provide us any information we asked about. For that price it was really worth it to stay in this hostel.

I chose Ritchie's on recommendation of a friend who stayed a few years ago and wasn't disappointed. I was a solo female traveller in a female only dorm that was spacious and had a private bathroom. The location is perfect - in the middle of the Old Town and close to Charles Bridge - and the service was second to none. The breakfast offering was good, too. Yes, you will have to climb some stairs but it didn't bother me as I had a pack (not a suitcase).
