When we booked this hotel, we had no idea the location would be a little off. From the airport, we took the metro, then the tram and then a 300meter walk. But I think we really lucked out. Located uphill from the Prague castle, the location of this small hotel is absolutely perfect. Walk down the hill on a quaint little street leading to the castle; shops and restaurants of all kinds, including an amazing Italian pizzeria, which I will review separately. Service at the hotel is really good and the people manning the front desks are very helpful and know a lot. Rooms are small but not bad at all. Overall we loved the stay. thought recommended by many, we did not try the resturants in the hotel; there was so much new to eat outside.

I really cannot rate the service provided by the staff at the Questenberk Hotel, Prague, highly enough - utterly superb from beginning to end, from Reception to bar staff and service staff and breakfast waiters. First class all round.

The hotel is very nicely appointed - not uber plush, but smart, comfortable, very clean and SUPERBLY LOCATED. The view from the terrace restaurant over the city and up to the adjacent monastery is top notch and I challenge anyone to find a better view.

Breakfast was include - continental AND a la carte - utterly wonderful - extensive selection and first class fare. A great way to start the day.

You may be questioning the authenticity of this review - a homer, a paid review - absolutely not! My first ever Trip Advisor review and one I'm giving because it is utterly deserved.

Thank you Hotel Questenberk for setting the scene for a great weekend in a beautiful city!

Hotel is in the left - terrace restaurant.

This hotel offers exceptional service in a charming atmosphere. We were welcomed with champagne and an apparatif. Our room on the top floor had original angled ceilings with exposed timber beams and a quaint little window with a view of the red slate rooftops in the valley. It was equipped with AC, WiFi, bar fridge and room safe. The large bathroom had a bathtub, which only a few rooms have. The dining room and terrace offer the best panoramic views of the city! The food prepared by their chef was exquisite and delicious. The breakfast buffet was equally enjoyable. It is located at the top of the hill just a short walk to the castle complex. The only negative is that the Old Town sites are at the bottom of the hill, which means that it is quite a climb to go back up again at the end of the day! Umbrellas provided for rainy weather which we had to use, unfortunately.

Room tip: Reserve ahead for the one table in the dining room that has the best city view.

The location of the Hotel Questenberk was ideal for many reasons. Being located atop a hill, we had amazing views and were only a few minutes walk from Prague Castle and other top sights. We were greeted by the conscientious staff upon arrival, who took us through a quick tour of the hotel and provided recommendations for restaurants and places to shop and visit. Our room was clean, bright and comfortable. Definitely would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The Hotel is excellent - very quiet, clean, 24-hr reception. Nikol was a doll as she checked us in she was able to book the 48hr Hop On/Hop Off Bus, a 1-day Prague tour, and a bike tour to Okor. The restaurant at the Questenberk is wonderful, the breakfast is superb. I had the Eggs Benedict and they were delicious.

The Orange Hop On/Hop Off bus pickup is right across the street, so convenient! The hotel is adjacent to the monestary - which has 5-6 bars and restaurants as well. A quick walk to the "mini Eiffel Tower", and 10 minutes by walk to the Castle, 15 minutes to the Charles Bridge. We had a great trip, the Questenberk was a major reason why.

Thanks again to Nikol who made reservation for us to eat at The Blue Duck - without her we couldn't have gotten in!
