viewed the rest ,stayed at the best,Questenberk top hotel, stayed in deluxe room 407 small window ,but it is a very old converted Monastery and to change any windows would loose it's charm . warm welcome on arrival. excellent staff and very helpful. very good breakfast and good choice. Great location, very close to Prague castle, and a short downhill walk Charles bridge 15 mins at the most,22 tram for the return journey.Would recommend this hotel to all .

Room Tip: stayed in 407 good view of Monastery

Dear Andy J,

thank you for highlighting the charm of our hotel and it's location which is a truly gem in the very heart of Europe. I am happy to read that service provided by my colleagues is high-level and equal to service of the best five stars hotels. We pride ourselves on taking care of our valued guests, make them relax and enjoy their vacation.

Prague Castle location is really enviable. The area where Strahov Monastery (which we are part of) is located is considered as one of the most prestigious in Prague, called Golden Prague. Everything is close at hand and yet the atmosphere of Petřín park and the old Strahov seems out of this world.

We are immensely pleased that you have discovered the charm of magical Prague as well as our boutique hotel and that you fully enjoyed your stay with us. We appreciate you are our guest and as always we will continue to look for ways to give our guests what they want on holidays.

With warm regards,

Robert Safarik

fantastic experience- could not recommend this place highly enough
as others have found the service experience and quality of the hotel facilities are top notch
great location, good food in the immediate vicinity and with an all day transport pass the access to the city is a breeze
loved the quality of the modernisation of this old abbey and the preservation of the structure evident in our room 301
breakfast great and staff very helpful

Dear guest,

thank you for refreshing your memories from your recent trip to Prague. We are all glad that you were satisfied and you have enjoyed your stay in hotel Questenberk.

We try to do our best to keep the historical charm unlike from making huge modernizations. You may find original wooden beams and ceilings on the upper floors or enjoy your breakfast in a consecrated chapel where our breakfast room is. The spirit of history can be felt everywhere in the hotel neighborhood.

We are looking forward to see welcome you back in the near future.

With warm regards,

Hotel Questenberk. What a fabulous place to stay in Prague. We checked in after 14 ds' cruise and this hotel exceeded our expectations. The personnel is very caring and attentive. We were delighted in all aspects. Amazing location, clean and very quiet room, wonderful breakfasts, complimentary water and fruit in our room and not to forget sparkling wine upon our arrival. We felt very welcomed. I would not change anything about this hotel and I would recommended to all my family and friends.

Room Tip: This hotel is 17 th century building with thick walls, rooms are very quiet.

Dear guest of the Questenberk hotel,

thank you for your valuable review and your recent stay which I believe will give you only nice memories of Prague. We are always very thankful when we read about your experience of our charming city and hotel Questenberk. I will be pleased to share your compliments with whole team.

We are happy to know you have enjoyed our hotel and overall your stay in Prague. You are right that our location is away from the rush, next to Prague castle which takes only 5 minutes walk to reach the Soldiers of elite Prague Castle Guard welcoming you at the main gate of Prague Castle. Visitors to Castle Hill love to watch the changing of the guard - which happens every hour, on the hour. At 12 noon, it's possible to watch a special flag ceremony during the changing of the guards.

During your next visit you may enjoy the view and tasty breakfast at the terrace, which is open also for the breakfast now and gives you the best start of your day.

We are looking forward to welcome you back here at the Questenberk hotel.

With friendly regards,

Robert Safarik

the hotel looks a little daunting when you arrive, once through the doors it looks truly amazing ,you get a very warm greeting with a drink and a escorted tour of the hotel.i choose a deluxe room 309 was a little disappointing as my view was the wall of the sweedish embassy.the room was beyond my expectations,it was perfect, good size room, comfy beds all the fittings of a 5 star, the fruit and comp water in the room was a nice touch, the questenberk has got it just right the staff were brilliant, they made you feel like a vip, as a this hotel could take pride of place in any city throughout Europe.vert easy to get to and from hotel by no 22 tram 100 yards from hotel the walk down to the town is nice passing the castle and many lively restuarants..the only thing stopping me from giving 10/10 was I had a late flight,we were told there is a changing room to shower and change before leaving for airport on checking out the friendliness cooled a little,we were told to use the toilet to change in,which was impossible as guests cming in and out so ew could not wash or change, and had to pay for 2 coffee, apart from that I would recommend the questenberk to anyone.it was a truly exelent stay. 4/6/2013

Dear Guest,

I would like to thank you for your nice words. It is a pleasure to read that you enjoyed your stay, the spacious room with comfy beds and the service of our staff for most parts of your stay.

On the other hand though I regret several issues that occurred during your stay. First of all as all of our rooms are special, however, different - some rooms offer wooden ceilings, other are very spacious with comfortable beds like the room you had, and there are also rooms with a view either to the historical Strahov Monastery or the city. As we are aware that we all do have different taste in what we fancy the most we call each of our guests after the arrival to make sure that you are fully satisfied with you room. I regret you did not let us know you wish to move. If we knew earlier then we would have tried to find a better option for you.

I sincerely apologize for spoiling your impression of the hotel on the last day of your stay. We offer a late checkout or changing room to guests of Deluxe room or higher category if available. As we were aware that you were arriving early we did have a changing room for you prepared. We of course wanted to provide the same service to you on the day of your departure. We actually had a room prepared for your comfortable change, but there must have been a misunderstanding on our side. I assume that unfortunately one of the front desk agent, who is our trainee, provided you with the incorrect information. However, we have taken proper steps to make sure this does not happen again to another guests of Questenberk hotel.

Once again, I apologize for not providing you with the service you deserved. We all would be more than pleased to welcome you in Prague in the near future.

With friendly regards,

Robert Safarik

This is a beutiful hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside is the location, its a long walk up a steep hill after an evening in the Old Town. But the views across town from the terrace are spectacular.

Dear guest of the Questenberk hotel,

thank you very much for your kind review. You are absolutely right about the location, because we are located only few steps from the Prague Castle and the Petřín hill, which offers one of the best views that you can enjoy in Prague. Directly from our terrace you can see the Old Town, Charles Bridge, Strahov Monastery and also parts of the Petřín park. After a long day of sightseeing it is definitely better to use the tram 22, which takes you directly to our hotel within several minutes from the city center.

We are glad that you have enjoyed your stay with us and we are looking forward to see you again.

With friendly regards

This hotel is a gem, tell me, when was the last time that a hotel offered you a wet towel on arrival, a choice of refreshment, including a glass of sparkling wine, I bet you can't!!,But, that's what they do at the QUEStENBURK hotel. The service is incredible, breakfast is served in a beautiful room with an incredible panoramic view of Prague, the breakfast selection is excellent, fresh and clean, the coffee is brewed fresh and served to your table, the decor is remeniscent of an old castle with classy decor, also piped music that you don't hear anyplace else.
The service is next to none and a staff of excellent group of young professional, very dedicated to your confort, and get this, a personal signed welcome letter with your name, that's class! I really can't say enough on how much I enjoyed this stay at this hotel.
I highly recommend it, this is a wonderful hotel.well
Well done staff.

I might run out of superlatives by describing my experience at the QUestenberk HOtel.

First, the welcoming...THe personnel is so nice, they are ready to make you feel at home
Second, the view...Breathtaking, you can see the whole of Prague from the outside terrace or the Breakfast room
THird, the room and bathroom facility. Clean, confortable, not to mention the fruit plate and free still water provided on a daily basis
Fourth, the breakfast. Try the homemade yoguhrt, you will end up eating 5 like I did!!

Another great value is the position, you can either reach the hotel with a nice 20min walk uphill from Malastrana, or you can jump on the tram 22 which runs around the castle and drops you just behind the hotel.

THis hotel will for sure be my first choice during my next trip to magic Prague
