We had a three night stay between Christmas and New Year 2012 and were very impressed with the location (it really is just a few minutes walk from Old Town Square) and the size and cleanliness of our room. The staff were helpful too, and spoke good English, and the breakfast was much better than some of the usual complementary buffets in hotels like this - lots of choice, hot and cold, and friendly service. The only downsides for us were that although we had a non smoking room (and all the rooms on our floor appeared to have no smoking signs on the door) at times the hotel corridors smelt smoky and it was hard to shake this off. Also our first night was a Thursday and Friday morning appears to be the day the glass gets collected from the streets of Prague! We got woken up early by the noise of the lorries and the emptying of glass as we had a room facing out onto the road above the hotel main entrance. Despite this, we'd stay again.
