We stayed 2 nights here and found the President's best asset it's location. Right on the river and a 200m walk to the Old Town square, it's glory days are past. Like people, smoking prematurely ages a hotel, and there is that smell of cigarettes old and current in the common areas, that says "I am still in Central Europe". The breakfast was huge and the service was friendly. Rooms were quite spacious and we had a great view of the river too.
It's not a 5 star.
