This hotel was a base for a 3 day visit, so minimal time was spent here. The hotel was excellent value & perfect central location.
The rooms were huge and kept very clean.
We only ate breakfast there but it was of a good standard.
The most impressive feature was the most stunning view.

We stayed at this hotel the last weekend of November, and it was a cold experience, but the hotel made us feel so much warmer! Mu mother arrived on Wednesday and received an upgrade on her room. I was at home, and skyped with her and was really impressed with the room we were going to share. The next day me and my sister arrived and our mother had already checked us in. They had been a bit reluctant when she asked if my sisters room could be some where close by ours. When we came to the room we understood why. It was the next doors room, with connecting doors and 180 degrees view out of the window with the lake and the hill on one side and the Jewish quarter on the other. I've stayed at several hotels, but never had such a large room! The bathroom that I shared with my mother was big, my sisters was double that size! Had we known upfront we would probably have switched rooms, but no complaints in that regards ;)

One of my biggest trouble when travelling is the sleep quality, I need a soft bed, and I was very pleased when my mother could inform me that I did not need to bring my tempur-madras. The bed was very comfortable and the only
thing missing was my boyfriends shoulder to make it perfect ;)

Breakfast was good and the service was kind. We had bought a bottle of wine on our way there, and needed a bottle opener, and when we asked the waiter in the bar to lend us an opener he gave us his personal (that we came back with as soon as the bottle was opened ;) ). Over all we had a fantastic stay and would most definitively stay there again!

Room Tip: Make sure to ask for a room towards the river, it is such a nice view to wake up to!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff is very pleasant. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom, perfect in the winter. We received a room with a view to the back street but Prague is beautiful in every way so we didn't mind at all. The breakfast was great; a lot of variation and everything was tasty. The hotel has free wifi in the lobby, but not in the room. Unfortunately, it is allowed to smoke in the lobby (much like everywhere in Prague) and there were always smokers there.
The location of the hotel is perfect. It's 5 minutes walk from the old town square. We walked everywhere, there was absolutely no need for transportation. Also, after seeing a lot in the center, we personally found the other side of the river much more appealing as it had a lot of small romantic restaurants, so the location of the hotel was perfect, all we had to do was cross the bridge near the hotel. I strongly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a beautiful room, great breakfast and spot-on location.

The President Hotel in Prague is an excellent choice for someone who looks for a quiet luxury and comfort without paying a fortune. It's upon the Moldava river (where the cruises depart) and has a great view to Prague's Castle. It's not far for the central square with the Clock which is approached through an avenue full of luxury shops and cafes. Our room was very big and the sleeping quality the best we ever enjoyed in a hotel. Lobby and restaurant are very nice and the bar offers a variety of sweets and drinks, not expensive. We also liked a lot the breakfast and especially their very tasteful ham. The staff is also very helpful and kind. We would definetely choose it again.

We travelled to the President Hotel in advance of a work meeting being held there. It is a great hotel in a fantastic location overlooking the river and close to all the tourist attractions. The service was outstanding and attentive and we were made to feel like honoured guests. The rooms were huge and spotlessly clean and well maintained. Breakfast was a decent selection but dinner could be improved. Overall, a marvellous hotel and i will be back.

The location in the banks of the river is very good and crossing the bridge one can catch a tram into the very old part , or walking five minutes you are in the old Jewish quarter with its synagogues and famous cemetery. Another five minutes past Golem a good restaurant with a pianist (sometimes) food good but they clip you for a packet of old almonds and cover charge. Then you are in the Old Town Square and the small streets leading off with the myrid shops selling garnets and amber. another ten minutes walking and you are in Wenceslas Square, which even has a Marks and Spencers store. A taxi from the hotel to the opera takes ten minutes. In the hotel the pianist never shows, and the restaurant except for the excellent breakfast is hardly open. Staff helpful, Hospital next door. boat rides two minutes.

Room Tip: look for specials on the deluxe rooms.

Visited Prague to see my son who is doing a semester abroad. Hotel is in a great location - walking distance to Charles Bridge, Old Town square and Jewish quarter. Spacious room with river view. Comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Small bar. Full buffet breakfast included with room, which is terrific. Would definitely return to this hotel if I ever visit this beautiful city again.
There is not a gym, but can use hotel next door's gym for a small fee...didn't really need the gym as I did so much walking around the city.

Room Tip: Ask for a river view.
