We arrived at the hotel a bit skeptical due to the surrounding area, but the hotel was lovely. We soon realised, the metro is just around the corner and the tram basically stops at the hotel entrance, so it was perfect to get into town and all the tourist attractions. Even with the furthest attraction being the Prague Castle at a 40 min tram journey, getting the tram is all apart of the experience. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was really good with a wide spread of everything. Rooms were really clean, and a good size. A lovely atmosphere at the hotel in the evenings, only critisism is staff may need some drinks training due to waiting a while but nothing was a problem to the staff and they helped the best they could. Would definitely stay at pentahotel again and would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Prague.

I stayed here with my boyfriend on a weekend in Prague for my birthday. Given the excellent price (£126 for 3 nights) I wasn’t expecting too much. The hotel exceeded any expectations I did have. The lobby area is beautiful with fire places, a pool table, bar and even a play station 4. There was also always a really lovely smell in the lobby.

Our room was great, only thing was we were given two single beds instead of a double but I never asked if we could change, which I’m sure they’d have been happy to do.

The hotel bar was excellent, we ended up using it quite a lot. They have very reasonably priced cocktails, I recommend the whiskey sour or the cosmopolitan. The staff were all really lovely too!

The hotel is maybe 30 minutes walk from the town centre, however, there are plenty of trams that will get you there in around 10 minutes. Also, there are really great places around the hotel that are much cheaper than some places nearer the centre and much better quality! We went to bar Diego which is just to your right as you walk out of the hotel. I would recommend it! Also, we went to a beautiful restaurant selling traditional Czech food, just across the road from the hotel called Krystal bistro.

Don’t be put off this hotel by its distance from the centre, it’s a really great place to stay!

Stayed 3 nights with girlfriend, very contemporary and laid back with stunning bar/lounge area (24hr bar). Pool table and PS4 with fifa etc also in lobby area. All staff very friendly with good English. Rooms a little basic, bed was awful particularly the pillows but shower hot and powerful, sprays the floor quite a bit too. Big TV with descent selection of free films (all types..). Tram/metro tickets available at the bar for 24hr use, really cheap and perfect to get to the main squares, Charles bridge etc, takes around 15 minutes if that. Breakfast was excellent, great selection of foods, few shops and restaurants walking distance too.

I'm staying in this hotel few times in a year due to business reason. It was n ot my favourite choice before but have to admit it's improving - internet is now working as should be in XXI century (speed before was closer to 1990). Unfortunately still 1 bottle of water per stay per room (nomatter how long and how many peple in a room) but come on - internet is working :)Apart from this - service is very good, friendly and helpfull even during very busy & crowded weekends. breakfast, location, design - all good.
