Couple travelling with a 2 year-old girl.

Stayed at Liberty Hotel in the fantastic city of Prague from June 13th until June 17th, room #23.

We picked the hotel based on the good reviews here on TA and also on the price we got from our Tour Rep. We weren’t disapointed!

We will try to make this review not too long but qualify all the aspects we consider of relevance.

Location – 5 star

Location could not be better. The street does not have trafic and is walking distance to most of turistic attractions without having the hussle of Stare Maesto.
It has many places to eat and shops nearby and it was very safe.
We couldn’t have picked a better spot, really.

Hotel in General – 5*

The hotel is in a historical building (I beleive it was a palace before) and has personality, with some art deco details. Lots of marble. It was very clean and seemed very organized. The staff was helpful and efficient.
We asked for a late checkout and they managed to provide (+ 2 hours) as our room was not going to be occupied for the afternoon. Nice!...

Room – 4*

We were upgraded and given a larger room on the 4th floor, facing the main street, but still a quiet room.
It was spacious and very clean, with a large comfortable bed.
Prior to our arrival, we had ask for a baby cot, which was already placed upon arrival.

The bathroom was big, with 2 sinks, a large bath tub and plenty of amenities.
The hairdryer worked nicely and the towels could be heated (I am sure this is quite useful on Winter time).

Our only complain about the room was that the blinds/ curtins did not stop the light from getting in so our room had a lot of natural light by 5am.

Breakfast – 4*

As other reviews said, the breakfast was plentiful and you have enough selection of breds and pastries. There is fruit salad everyday as well as salad and apples. You can also have eggs, beans and saussages and there is also cereals and yogurtes.
They also offered free of charge, capucciono or expresso, which is a nice touch.
It was not the best breakfast I had but it was more than adequate.

We didn’t use the Spa/Wellness zone nor the Cafeteria so cannot comment.

The hotel was an excellent option for Prague and we will definetly return, in case we go to Prague again.
It is a lovely city whith plenty to see in walking distance and it is excellent for a city break with children.

I highly recommend this hotel. Location is great and can just about walk to anywhere you like. Wonderful clean rooms, good breakfast buffet. My room had a shower and it was excellent. My parents only had a tub with a hand held sprayer, so know this in case you want a shower. Even though we faced the street, the windows really blocked out the noise. The staff too was helpful and polite. Bank and grocery store also close by.

We booked 3 nights in Prague 2 weeks before Christmas last December. We mainly booked the Hotel Liberty due to the price and that it was in the Trip Advisor Top 50. The reviews were good so we went for it.

Best decision we ever made. The hotel is about 50ft from Wenceslas square, and a 3-5 minute walk to the Old Square. The foyer is stunning, wall to wall marble, and the concierge was welcoming. Our room was on the 3rd floor, standard room, but it was huge. Large bathroom, hall and a huge bed, The view onto Wenceslas square was also lovely, the Christmas market was in full swing.

The breakfast was solid, standard continental fare, but of a high quality.

We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, so much so we are going back again this Christmas.

The hotel is located in the new town but it is few minutes walking to the old town anyway. So the location is really good. The hotel is a nice building, very smart and clean and our room was huge. It looks like a suite really and we had also a sofa, another bed in addiction! Everything is working we had no problem at all and the bathroom was amazing. The hotel prepares for you clean towels and shampoo and any confort. The staff was really kind with us and one of them was speaking italian, this was really good for us. We recommend this hotel for everything as well as for the breakfast. There is pleanty of everything and we appreciated the sweets and the quality of food. There were salt and sweety food and many different kind of beverage.

Just returned from 3 night stay in this hotel. Location was perfect, very central and yet room was quiet. Very comfortable and well appointed room. Free wifi. Easy to talk or take tube to all the main tourist sights. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would recommend and hope to be able to go back sometime.

Room Tip: We had a room at the back of the hotel which overlooked a private courtyard. Was very quiet.
