Went in to ask for directions for somewhere and greeted by very rude staff that were not interested in helping us in any sort of way! Resorted into getting a taxi to our hotel that we were looking for which was actually only round the corner and cost us £10!! Hotel looked very shabby and would not stay here.

The hotel has an excellent location in the Old town of Prague. Near to the historical sites with good transport communication - tram, subway, bus. The building though is old and the hotel is not renovated. Miserable conditions in the rooms - not clean with unpleasant smell, old pillows and coverlets, no fridge, hair dryer, air conditioner or internet. Very noisy inside, thin walls. If your room is on the first floor have in your mind that the restaurant and the kitchen are on the second. Next to them there are also rooms! Of course nobody gives you that information when check in. We made a recervation three months in advance and it was strange for me when we was given a room on the first floor as "the only one left". Staff is not polite, especially in the "restaurant".

Stayed here on a golf trip last sept 2012 . Had a room at the front over the busiest road in Prague and got very little sleep for 3 nights !!! The breakfasts were as bad as i have ever had in a hotel or guest house . Watered down juice and wafer thin ham and cheese were on offer . This was so bad we went elsewhere and paid for our breakfasts . Good points 1. Reception staff very good 2. hotel is clean . 3 walking distance from main square 4 cheap room rates. Overall i wont be staying here again . Hope this helps some visitors

Room Tip: Don take a room at the front under any circumstances

We stayed here for one night only, the room was simple, but clean. The hotel its located close to the centre, just a throw away from the Charles Bridge. Breakfast was in the form of a buffet with plenty of choices. No luxury, but would go back.

Stayed at this hotel as part of a stag weekend. The hotel itself is basic but clean and was an ideal spot to get the odd couple of hours of sleep here and there over the weekend. We didnt pay for luxury and didnt expect it!
Its location was perfect just a stone throw away from old town and a five minute walk in the opposite direction to the lively parts of Prague. There is a large shopping complex located next to the hotel with various areas on the top floor to eat if you have time! Would happily return if in Prague again

We got the triple room on the third floor, so it was not too tiny as the other reviews mentioned. Everything was ok, they have a good breakfast with eggs, bread, cheese, jam, cereals, but the coffee is not expresso.

Its close to everything, very central. We had a nice stay.

I've been in this hotel in January with my partner only for 2 night for a quick and little city break after Christmas. The hotel is situated in a good position near a modern and quite big mall, shops, banks and just 5 minutes walking to the historic centre as well. The hotel was quiet in that period because it was after all the holiday and it was really cold. The structure is a quite old palace, the room was big, high-ceiling but really old fashioned, with big not double-glazed windows, old carpet and furniture, Wi-Fi only in the reception area. The bathroom was ok, spacious and contemporary. To be honest we slept well and we hadn't any big problem also because we stayed only 2 days and we spent all the time outside in the city. Prague is fantastic and magic at Christmas time, when we've been there, there were still all the christmas markets. Really enjoyed!
