Must stay. Breakfast was amazing and so was the service. Centrally located next to the traam and the shopping old town.... Everything you could ask for. Try the restaurant sasazu and la Argentina... Very close also

A rather peaceful hotel and interesting if you are keen on art-deco. Even for the less enthused traveller, the hotel offers good value and excellent quality accommodation, about 10 minutes walk from the Town centre and close to the tube/metro.

On arrival they suggested we upgrade our room and we were shown both standard and upgrade. My advice is to upgrade if you can as the room is much larger (includes an actual proper table/desk and a full size sofa in a reading corner), and offers little extras (a Nespresso machine)that make it very comfortable, for a small additional price. The bed was very comfortable and the linen of excellent quality. The room was fairly quiet, even though the trams were turning in the road below.

Generally service was very good, we called room service once and it was fast and efficient.Checking in and out was straighforward.

On the downside, they did not appear to have a garage linked to the hotel and we were offered a valet service to a nearby parking. The lobby was OK, but lacked light and was fairly small. Not exactly a great place to meet or conduct business.

The restaurant linked to the hotel appears famous and is headed by a good chef. It certainly has interesting features. Feel free to eat there if you'd like but there are so many other places with better value in terms of restaurant.

What made this hotel a good place was its position, slightly off centre but ever so close, and the comfort of the room. Amongst the myriad of possibilities, it offers an optimum solution in terms of value for comfort.

Room Tip: Choose an upgraded room situated at the corner of the building - It has a long corridor but offers m...

From our booking, to contacting the concierge to make arrangements before our trip, the ambience and quality of food in the restaurant, staff and hotel service this hotel exceeded our expectations. For anyone with an interest in Art Nouveau/Art Deco you will not find a more spectacular display of original tiles manufactured by the famous Rako factory. Do not bother to make your own way from the airport, contact the concierge beforehand and book a return transfer by limousine. It's not expensive. It's also worth paying a few pounds more for an executive room as they are more spacious.

Just back from a great surprise break to Prague with my now fiancé staying at this hotel. I have to say the hotel exceeded my expectations totally. The staff, room, catering and location were all great. Special thanks to Vaclav our concierge who helped make the stay even more magical by helping with my special romantic requests.

I had read through a lot of reviews about hotels in Prague and looked through twice as many photos but in the end I loved the look of this hotel as well I figured it just "fitted" the Prague experience. When we got to the hotel I wasn't disappointed, the hotel looks very grand and classy and the room was the exact same. It was very spacious and well appointed, even having heated tiled floor in the bathroom which was a nice touch.

We never ate dinner in the hotel, for no reason other than we out exploring the whole time but if the breakfast (or cake selection ;-) ) is anything to go by I'm sure it would be very nice indeed. The breakfast had plenty to choose from and I found it be very tasty!!

All in all I couldn't recommend the hotel highly enough to be honest, if you're thinking about going then just do it! It's a great hotel and the staff were polite, knowledgable and helpful.

Thanks for a great stay!!

I have recently returned from hotel Imperial. What an experience it was. The amazing level of detail in the building and interior design is fascinating and a real joy to look at and admire.
The staff were also excellent we arrived 2 hours before check in time, however we escorted straight up to own room as it was already ready, provided with a map and general knowledge about the area and how to get to certain tourist attractions.
The room on the 5th floor was of an impeccable standard and plenty of room for a city break, the quality of the furnishing of the room was 100% worthy of its 5 star rating.
The cafe imperial breakfast provided with the stay were excellent and the staff ensured everything was quick and easy. The buffet style caters for everyone with a bit of English/American/European/Fruits/Cereals and pastries.
The bar tender was very friendly and always helped with drinks and kept the bar very clean and tidy with great service.

I would highly recommend this hotel for prague as its standards are out of this world and its location for most of the tourist attractions is pretty much central with a maximum of 10 minutes walk to charles bridge 5 minutes to the old town/jewish quarters.

Perfect setting for such a wonderful city.

My friend and I stayed here 24-26 January this year to celebrate my birthday - we chose this hotel because of its' good reviews and the wonderful decor - we were not disappointed! The room was very comfortable and the restaurant beautiful, the food delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful as were everyone we met during our stay in Prague. The hotel was only 5 minutes walk from the Old Town Square so ideal for us during our short stay here. Thoroughly recommend it and we hope to come back in the future.

Spent weekend here between January 24-26. Truly wonderful hotel with friendly stuff that will always try to make you feel welcomed. Clean, comfy and with beautiful decorations. I do advice to book at least executive room as it is quite spacious and definitely better choice than deluxe rooms.

Only little detailed that spoiled our stay was that cleaning service left empty wine bottle and used coffee mugs in the room which is something that should not happen in this category of hotels I would say.

Otherwise I can truly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Definitely go for executive rooms as they are worth the extra money. Also ask for room on higher flo...

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your lovely review as well as the comment about the forgotten mugs. Our maid unfortunately failed to clean them and as a consequence is no longer with us. Should we have the opportunity to improve your future stay with us, kindly send me a note directly to my email.
