A good establishment.

Did you know back in the old days the hotel attracted a lot of union leaders and union meeting were held here? My tour guide told me this bit of information so it was nice to know you are staying in a place where a few important labor decisions were made.

Anywho, the hotel is 5 stars, and expect a 5 star treatement. Friendly professional staff, very clean and comfortable rooms, and good filling breakfasts included. A bit far from old town square but close to Palladium (the mall). The Imperial Cafe is noisy a bit, but delicious selection of food (owned by the best chef in Prague apparently).

The spa is amazing. Expect a very professional massage.

Book your vacation here, its worth it, especially with the art and mosiacs.

Room Tip: Room 305 was very quiet and clean. Stay there.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were small but adequate. The bed was comfortable. Water pressure and temperature in the shower were fabulous! The staff was very friendly! (Martin, who worked the front desk, was absolutely wonderful and treated us very well!) The included breakfast buffet was nice but nothing to really rave about.

The best thing about this hotel is it's location! Easy walking distance to the major areas. For us, it was only a 5-7 minute walk to Old Town Square and a 15 minute walk to Charles Bridge.

The only downside to the hotel was that the tub is VERY high. I'm short (5'3") and had to sit on the side of the tub to safely get out. There was no way I could simply step out without falling. Even with the high tub, I'd gladly stay at this hotel again! In fact, on my future trips to Prague, we'll definitely stay here again!

We spent 2 nights Sept 23 & 24, 2012 at the Prague Art Deco Imperial Hotel and were very impressed with their standard room, concierge, cafe/restaurant, and limousine services. The hotel location is excellent for a short walk to the Old Town Centre with trams running just outside the hotel for longer journeys. The art decor and restaurant cuisine lived up to its reputation. Unfortunately, we were unable to have dinner at the restaurant as it is constantly booked up but we were able to enjoy breakfast and lunch which were excellent. We highly recommend this hotel and would return without hesitation.

We enjoyed a great 4 night stay at the Art Deco Imperial. Quiet room on an upper floor. Large bathroom by Europeon standards. Breakfast in the famous Cafe is excellent. Location is excellent. Just a 10 minute walk to the Old Town Square. Public transit close by. Plenty of restaurants nearby for dinner without going to the touristy places in Old Town. A couple of concert halls also just a 10 minute walk away. HOHO bus has a stop just a block from the hotel if needed. Staff friendly and helpful and speak English. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Spectacular interiors , hidden in a depressing grey building on a very ordinary street. Don't miss it, completely restored Art Deco interior... every inch covered. If you don't stay here at least have dinner. Reservations a must!

We are a member of worldwide machinery groups Caterpillar and Zeppelin. In April we held Caterpillar Strategic Worldwide Meeting in Art Deco Imperial Hotel. All participants have very satisfied with accommodation, meeting rooms, catering and the other services, incl. specific restaurant requirements.
We recommend Art Deco Imperial Hotel to all our foreign visitors and partners not only for accommodation, but for personal or business meetings in beautiful mood too.

A great hotel, excellent rooms, friendly and helpful staff. The famous Cafe, where we had breakfast, is the best example of Art Deco and Art Nouveau styling in Prague. The Cafe is open for everyone during the day so we could truly enjoy the atmosphere of the city! The Imperial is also in a great location, only a few minutes' walk to the old town square and republic square with subway and great shopping mall...
